But those are the games Edit: This is important
The portal will be live worldwide for everyone to select their game by March 22. We don’t want any of you to miss out on your free game, so please note that you must register your copy of SimCity before March 25, 2013 at 11:59 PM PDT and you must claim your free game by March 30, 2013 at 11:59 PM PDT. Well, atleast people that bought it can now get a good SimCity game.
That's a hilariously short and crappy list.
Hm, seems like a chance to try out NFS Most Wanted 2012, isn't it?
lol @ standard edition only
sweet, free bejeweled!!!
Hm, seems like a chance to try out NFS Most Wanted 2012, isn't it?
I think they are talking about the 2005 version of most wanted.
Wow you guys are lucky to get a free copy of Dead Space 3!
As much as EA are still scum of the gaming industry and this never excuses the fact it's always online DRM, Dead Space 3 for free is sorta nice of them. They're still cunts
That's a hilariously short and crappy list.
I don't see one bad game on there. It's free.
Click on link, "Server error" Wow... [t]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/37122947/ss%20%282013-03-19%20at%2012.28.07%29.png[/t]
Decent list considering Dead Space 3 came out just last month. Battlefield 3 and Mass Effect 3 are also enjoyable games as well. They even threw in SimCity 4.
I think they are talking about the 2005 version of most wanted.
Yeah, isn't that chronologically confusing? EDIT: Actually, I don't have Origin nor SimCity... But I guess that's OK, both because I don't like EA anyway and because Criterion turned Need for Speed into plain Burnout
With the possible exception of Plants Vs. Zombies and Bejeweled this list isn't half bad. What's with all the complaining.
With the possible exception of Plants Vs. Zombies and Bejeweled this list isn't half bad. What's with all the complaining.
Because even when they are giving away free shit, EA is still Hitler. [editline]18th March 2013[/editline] Also PvZ is fun.
Would have preferred crysis 3, but since I have everything but bejeweled and dead space 3, I think I'll get bejeweled.
They could just turn off always on drm and it would save them the money and be more effective in rewarding patience. I suppose they know everyone will still hate them anyway. Ha. Mass Effect 3. There's another game that upset the internet, isn't that a bit of a punch in the face? Complained about Sim City? Now you can complain about ME3 as well!
PvZ is fun.
To each their own. Doesn't it have micro-transactions?
We’re getting great feedback from our fans and know that many of you are having fun and exploring this whole new expression of SimCity.
lol
Was wanting Battlefield 3. Good, now I don't have to pay for it.
To each their own. Doesn't it have micro-transactions?
No, it doesn't. I would recommend getting one of the other games though as PvZ is a ten dollar game compared to some of the other ones.
Honestly it should have been whatever game we wanted, I'm not interested in any of those games
look at CD projekt for a good example of how to handle DRM fuck ups all versions of the witcher 2 aside from Good Old Game's were given abysmal DRM. CD Projekt realized this in days and removed it completely a few days after from all versions. Simple as that.
It's hilarious that they threw in Sim City 4. We botched the new Sim City, most of you couldn't play it, the AI and path finding is terrible, we lied about how it always had to be connected which means we basically greifed you and for $60. No you can't have that back, by the way, but we'll offer our older Sim City game that's fun and works if you'd like
so should i get a free copy of dead space 3 (i don't own) or get a pc copy of nfs most wanted (which i own on xbox)
im honestly surprised I expected a shitload of bad EA games, not a bad list
BF3 being on the list was pretty much a given but I didn't expect to see Dead Space 3 on there.
They know their standards.
With the possible exception of Plants Vs. Zombies and Bejeweled this list isn't half bad. What's with all the complaining.
I agree, MOH is at least 3/4ths bad.
Always online thing of sim city was probably to please shareholders. Same thing happened to ubisoft. Might end up in our favor like there. I mean, if EA execs just had to say "Sim city 5..." if someone brings up always online DRM.
IMO Need for Speed most wanted is probably the best game on the list if you don't wanna play BF3. It's fun as shit.
