i would post this on yahoo, but i dont feel like making an account. so, i am looking for something in google, and i click on like, a games site, and BAM. im at a university page or some shatty search engine. i am getting REALLY pissed off. in my processes, 2 files look strange.... 1st: jqs: ive ended its process and even searched and deleted the file, nothing. it is only part the problem i think. 2nd: jusched: i have no idea what it is, and i think its a problem. somebody please help me before i break my computer! (or use internet explorer if it still works! OOOOOOOOOH NOOOOOOOOOOOOO)
What browser are you using?
Sounds like a minor virus.
It's most likely a virus, try doing a online scan with Micro Trend Homecall or any of the other online virus scanners if the one you currently have doesn't pick it up. :sax:
FYI: Jusched.exe is the program that checks for updates to Java. JQS.exe is a program that pre-loads part of Java so that when you need it it can start faster.
Also, can we get a pic of the page you get redirected to? I hear some schools forcefully redirect you to their own search engine to prevent people from googling porn and such.
Fucking double post.
Time to reinstall.
If you get something like gagen.exe your fucked

Download it. Run it. Done.
If youre feeling paranoid, run your antivirus scan (I recommend Nod32. Sometimes AVG miss viruses. Ive had this happen)
Also wrong section
im using firefox, and it randomly brings me to a search engine or a job page or something. i can go back and re click the link but i dont want to have to do that every time! but, i ended the 2 suspect programs and it appeared to work, so i will go with: JAVA GAVE ME A FAWKING VIRUS.
Your computer is trolling you.
I had the same thing, it's a rootkit. Kaspersky Anti-Virus should be able to take care of it.
You mean like this?: http://www.asdg.net
You're probably just hitting unregistered domains. Nothing unusual. Nothing unusual.

only an idiot would do that lets be honest.
You should reformat by running a powerful magnet over your computer.
Oh god I had this and nothing got rid of it. If nothing helps (I tried everything and it wouldn't go away) a quick ghetto fix is to rename firefox.exe (to firefoxer.exe or whatever) in your program files.
