Descent! One of my childhood games, it's nice to see how it came around. :) Edit: I like how they're using SCP gameplay for the Freespace 2 portion.
Volition did freespace?? If they do a sequel I'll probably cum buckets

Nifty. But when I saw the thread title I missed the word "documentary" and was thinking "VOLITION MAKING A DESCENT GAME YESSSSSSSSS" then was dissapointed but oh well.
Volition did freespace?? If they do a sequel I'll probably cum buckets
We need Freespace 3 damnit!
Then buy more joysticks. They said in the doc that Freespace 2 didn't do so well for them despite being an incredible game because peoples' preferences in PC gaming was shifting, more people buying joysticks would herald a return of the flight sim/space sim to popularity.
That was awesome, and Descent was practically the first game I've ever played besides Wolfenstein.
Volition is known for firing their employees, right after they ship the game.
Johnny Cat
I went with "Gat the Cat" in the SR3 thread, but that's a lot better! Anyways, I've been thinking about getting the Red Faction games. Are they worth it?
