According to Reuters, Radical party leader Yuriy Boyko cold-cocked Opposition party leader Oleh Lyashko after Lyashko accused Boyko of taking orders from the Russian government.
“By the way, I also want to ask the (Security Service of Ukraine) why they visit Moscow and are not yet in jail?” Lyashko said — prompting Boyko to jump to his feet, grab Lyashko behind the head, and land a crushing right hand blow to the face.
After the two were broken up, Lyashko eventually resumed speaking — with Boyko, remarkably, sitting next to him once again. Lyashko once again drew Boyko’s ire, and again, Boyko punched Lyashko in the face.
I wonder how western public's would react to this kind of thing in the halls of power.
EDIT: maybe the title should be changed, the men are lawmakers and it is government meeting, but I don't know if the room is the Ukrainian Parliament, seems a little small.
Isn't fighting in parliament like a sport over there
Over here if he punched someone in Parliament he would be sent out right away and condemned by everyone in session. He sure as fuck wouldn't just be sat down next to him after that.
The assaulter has the temperament of a fucking child.
Just an average day in Ukrainian politics

To be fair, it seemed like the other guy was outright accusing him of treason, not something that happens in Westminster that often.
this dude in the back looked like he was a bit taken aback by whatever claims were being thrown around, but as soon as the guy started punching he just continued to sit perfectly still and look back and forth in the room like some sort of animatronic

It looks awfully suspicious to respond to accusations with violence. That's not something you do unless you're trying to silence or intimidate someone.
That's fucking embarrassing.
If we could get some people to fight like this in American politics people might care a little more. We could even broadcast congressional hearings like MMA fights on pay per view.
Way to blaze a trail Ukraine!
The accusations of entering Moscow and not being jailed were made after the first punch was thrown.

The above is false, my east slavic is not solid enough to state clearly enough what they are saying, but the comment about Moscow and not being jailed come after the first struggle.

I dont know. Bring backing dueling. It would be no loss if politicians began offing each other.
Accusations of being a KGB agent are fairly common, especially when your opponent does something you don't like, but they usually don't end in violence.

Except Boyko is almost certainly a corrupt piece of shit.
