I'm hanging out with a friend and we're gonna watch some movies. She likes psychological thrillers and horror movies, I really don't care what we watch. Here's a few I was thinking about, but suggestions or comments would be nice.
Donnie Darko (Directors Cut)- She wanted to watch it, and I kind of do too. We've never seen it.
Sin City- My personal favorite movie, not really a horror, but a good mystery / action / nior.
Bronson- Never seen it, can't tell if it's like a comedy or psychological.
American Psycho- Never seen it, looks pretty f'd up.
Se7en- Never seen it, looked pretty legit.
I'm sure this is a pretty weak list. I might watch a SAW or Hannibal movie, I've only seen the first SAW movie and Silence of the Lambs. Also, I don't think Hostel would fit the mood as I wanted to throw up half the time.
Anyways, your input is appreciated.
Sin City and American Psycho are brilliant. I don't know about Donnie Darko myself but apparently it's really good. Don't bother with any SAW films.

Yeah I love Sin City. Alright then I guess I have a good lineup of Donnie Darko, Sin City, and American Psycho. That should keep us busy. Thanks for the input.

Donnie Darko was really good too, very weird and wonderful time travel plot, and quite screwed up.
Never seen Se7en, I actually have it but have never got round to watching it.
Sin City is pretty good. The orange guy is really disturbing.
Don't watch the Directors Cut of Donnie Darko, it actually makes the film much worse.
It explains the cryptic plot.
Any of those are great. Sin City and Donnie Darko are amazing. As is Se7en, but it's pretty messed up. Great film though. Not really a good thing for romance.

If you're going to watch Donnie Darko don't get the directors cut.
Se7en is also pretty cool. It's a tad gruesome. And really dark and disturbing. But it's still good.
The first Saw wasn't bad. The rest is though.

Sin City- overrated in my opinion, plenty of style but that's it
Bronson- haven't seen it
American Psycho- Great satire, might not be for everyone though
Se7en- very grim thriller, it's a Fincher movie so you get what you pay for

In the directors cut. In random scenes pages of that damn book just pop up and cover the whole screen. The pages say nothing relevant and just cover whats actually going on. It's annoying.
Se7en and Sin City are win.
The other's i've never seen.

Donnie Darko is mind-bending of you understand it. Really confusing the first time through, but if you read [url=http://www.ruinedeye.com/cd/time1.htm]The Philosophy of Time Travel[/url] then you can understand it well (it's only 30 or so pages, not that long).
I watched Donnie Darko, I was interested until the last 3 minutes. It sucked ass. I don't understand how the hell him dying helped save the world.
