The threat level to Great Britain from Irish-related terrorism has been raised from moderate to substantial.
Home Secretary Theresa May said it meant an attack was a "strong possibility".
It was the first time this threat level had been published, the Home Office confirmed.
The head of security service MI5 warned last week that dissident Republicans opposed to British rule in Northern Ireland could strike mainland Britain.

To be honest I don't think anybody cares about a united Ireland anymore.. Well I don't.

The IRA and Provisional IRA disarmed, they still technically exist. The Real IRA (who aren't the real IRA) are still armed.

The fuck have we done? Ok, we might not have a nice shiny history, but last time I checked it was Irish dissident groups bombing the UK - not UK dissident groups bombing Ireland.
As a number of people (who I am asuming are Irish) here have said, the majority of the Irish don't really care - in which case, I really can't fathom what Ireland's problem is.
But aside from all that, I hope I don't get 'sploded.
