OKLAHOMA CITY -- A man apparently looking for a massage ended up beaten, tased and robbed in the metro this week. In this case, an internet ad ended with a black eye, swollen lip and police searching for four suspects.
The trouble started with a website called backspace.com and a request that went wrong.OKC Police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow says, "The man told officers that he had ordered, as he put it, some type of massage."Soon after, a woman called confirming she was on the way to his apartment in Southwest Oklahoma City.Sgt. Wardlow says, "There were two females that showed up at his front door. He told them allegedly that he was no longer interested, that did not want their services."
That's when two men allegedly rushed into the room and insisted he pay.
Sgt. Wardlow says, "When he refused, these males assaulted him. They beat him pretty bad. They ended up robbing him and also tasing him, according to the report."
The man called police and told them the suspects took $100 from his pocket.
He also said he would never have reported the robbery except the suspects took a laptop that belonged to a friend and he wanted to get it back.
The man did not have the serial number for the computer on hand when he spoke with police. The phone number for the woman who called the victim on her way over to his home now answers, "The number you have dialed is not in service."
Sgt. Wardlow says, "Anything like this we obviously discourage. Any time you don't know somebody, no matter what the purpose is inviting them to your place, you don't know who could possibly be coming to your house. We obviously discourage that."This is a situation that could be much more of a problem than we know about.Cases like this are almost never reported.
This is so hilarious
They didn't even bother to give him a happy ending, the bastards.
This is the very opposite of the thing I requested!
At least he got tenderized.
That is horrible, both the article and the above post.
Extreme massage therapy
So I'm guessing he didn't get the massage
What the fuck is wrong with people?
"Backspace.com" "Going over to your house for a massage"
That would sound off some alarms don't ya think?
And also say that you are no longer interested in the services? Dude, be smarter that that please.
So in other words, someone tried to skimp out on paying for sex and got beaten up by their muscle, not exactly sensationalist as this is sort of the expected end result.
"Backspace.com"
Really?
Really?
Not the beating he was hoping for, I imagine.

Do you even know what irony is?
But anyways, this is the kind of shit that makes me think twice about meeting anybody through the internet. Unless they know a bunch of my friends and are easily verifiable through facebook or whatever, you never know who you're actually meeting.

Thats why, whenever you're meeting, you never give them your address, instead meet them somewhere public, where a lot of people will be present.

I assume he wouldn't want to get his 'massage' (I doubt that's what it was) in public

Good one Sobotnik!

It could be argued that it was quite ironic that he ordered a massage service expecting it to help him relax and instead got robbed and the shit kicked out of him.
Irony is one of those fun little words with tons of definitions.
what's all the fuss?
this is how you get massaged. I don't see the problem, plus $100 is fair charge.
He must have walked into the BDSM section.
In all seriousness,
AT LEAST
he didn't ask for acupuncture. :v:
I was working at the front desk of a Holiday Inn in Panama, some weirdass american was staying at the hotel and called asking for a massage. We called a massager, she drove all the way from the other side of town, only to be told by the man she didn't want the massage no more. She slapped the man and came to the reception asking for compensation from the hotel. Needless to say it was hillarious.

he would love this guy
I thought this was going to be about a guy randomly asking people in the street for a massage.

He realized if you invite someone from the internet to your house they'll probably murder you.
