Wow I wonder what could make people think that
Are they going to call it... Battlefield 2?
Are they going to call it... Battlefield 2?
The worst part is that I can actually see that happening, just to twist the knife in BF2's legacy even more after the server shutdown
Are they going to call it... Battlefield 2?
After Battlefront 1 & 2, it wouldn't surprise me anymore.
Just give me fully pilotable destroyers, battleships, subs, aircraft carriers. None of this on-rails crap. Please. ..It's never going to happen.
"This year's Battlefield" That quote says more than it should.
"This year's Battlefield" That quote says more than it should.
Well nearly every battlefield since 1942 has been two years apart. No difference here. It will be two years since Battlefield One this October.
Bad Company 3. BF2143. Come on, we don't need another ww2 game.
battlefield 1 2
Some leaks say that the game is gonna be called Battlefield V instead lol BF3 - BF4 - BFH - BF1 - BFV That's some good shit right there.
I'd really like to see another alternate setting battlefield game, something completely different in a setting that isn't real, like a completely unreal setting or even a just an alternate history like a diesel-punk world that developed current types of weapons and vehicles but entirely different. Is it so hard to make a good combined arms game not grounded in reality?
I thought I heard at one point the next Battlefield was going to be set in a 1960s Cold War gone hot, guess that was false.
They should call it Battlefield 1944
Bad Company 3. BF2143. Come on, we don't need another ww2 game.
The World War 2 game oversaturation ended at least 10 years ago. I could go for some more.

More fronts that are not the Western Front in general would be great as I find the large amount factions and languages in BF1 to be really cool. Gameplay-wise, I want them to combine the good aspects of BF1 like its class system/weapons along with the good aspects of BF4 like not-piss easy sniping, less grenade spam and variety of customization.
Can we give Korea some love? Fight in Mkg Valley, assault the beaches of Inchon, or fight as a marine against a chinese army that has us completely surrounded. Its the perfect mix between WW2 and proto-Vietnam culture and equipment
Well nearly every battlefield since 1942 has been two years apart. No difference here. It will be two years since Battlefield One this October.
time fucking flies, they're still dropping content for bf1 too and I still really just prefer bf4's gunplay
The WW2 levels in Bad Company 2 were something special...
Bad Company 3. BF2143. Come on, we don't need another ww2 game.
Not gonna happen, it's going to take 5-10 years for futuristic shooters to become in-style again. The last WW2-saturation is strangely enough years behind us now.
I thought I was up for some more WW2, but after the latest COD I don't know anymore. Maybe a good modern WW2 game could change my mind.
the reason the latest cod flopped wasn't because it was set in ww2.
Remember when 2142 was released and people were bitching and moaning about 'Why futuristic?! OMG worst battlefield evar!?" My how the times have changed. Still it's my favorite BF game by a pretty wide margin... Though I did immensely enjoy Bad Company 2.

You simply couldn't miss 1 class. No anti-tank/engineer? Your squad will be mowed down by a tank. No medic? Your time in the enemy-territory will be short. Also still remember the thrill boarding the Titans with a 6 man squad. Or in BF2, when you're a part of a 12 man team in 2 helicopters, invading Wake Island. Q the Ride of the Valkyries. I feel BF2 and BF2142 where more squad focused.
Bad Company 3. BF2143. Come on, we don't need another ww2 game.
Battlefield 2143/Titanfall crossover when?
If i cant use skies to move fast next some russian kids t-26 with bottle of burning alcohol and 1 shot it while the kid screams blyaaattt this game will be disapointment
Hey nerds, Bad Company 2 is like 8 bucks for the Deluxe on Origin. There's not a ton of players anymore, but I've been having fun with it this last week. 870 with magnum slugs for l y f e I had to re-buy it because my old Yahoo email for my old EA account is super dead.
I could totally dig just sweeping 30 rounds out of a Thompson through a wooden fence and watching it splinter with the amazing sound design you expect in a DICE game. I hope they slow character movement the fuck down though. People are moving faster and faster in these games
