A lot of people care, rightly or wrongly he has a lot of knowledge of the middle east. He is also pretty good at arranging peace deals..
I like the part where he absolves the west of all blame, especially in light of that time they went gung-ho into Iraq with very little idea of how they would set up a competent government which wouldn't cause sectarian tensions to boil over.

This is just the same shit we have always heard. I crave the day when a celeberty comes out and explains what's going on. For now we only have big artists that still are independent and pretty underground for the public. We surely have more, but what comes to mind is:
