i don't get all these black jokes about beyonce
It's referencing the controversy over the song's subject matter and Super Bowl performance.
Gonna guess that this isn't going to go down well on FP but I thought it was hilarious. You're always gonna get some crazy/funny reactions when a pop star does anything vaguely political.
Just about anybody over the age of 35 on my facebook was bitching about Beyonce being 'too black' in her new song. Same for The Weeknd once they found out about his non-radio songs.

i'm not sure if this is just a north american culture thing or something but "le white people am i right" jokes have always seemed pretty dumb and forced to me it just feels like they're trying to jerk off people who think they're fighting for a worthy cause for a quick buck
i have not seen anything like this this whole video makes no sense
I don't know if it's because you're outside the hip-hop RnB community, but it's a common thing when ' black mixes with white', or when a black artist becomes 'too black'. I remember when Paul McCartney released his collab song with Kanye West, there were actual pissed off comments asking why he was working with a 'gangster', and a 'thug', even though kanye's songs represent the opposite if that. I remember when a black NFL player gave a more than usual aggressive interview, there were headlines addressing him as a thug . I don't his name rn. I'll check when I'm home. I'm in middle America, and a handful of adults who think all hip-hop is 'criminal', so when the single ladies fans stumbled upon her new single, they would think it's 'gangster trash' and shit. I guess it's a middle America US thing. [editline]14th February 2016[/editline] It really seems the whole punk/metal scare brought to to hip-hop. It's a lot of older people freaking out, but it also has a lot of different prejudices because hip-hop is more of a 'black' thing. Also that Beyonce song the skit is about for reference
This is great and SNL has been poking at this bear for a while, i'm glad too. The Superbowl x Beyoncé drama on facebook is a big testament to how trigger happy the whole country is about voicing their (mis)understanding of the black lives matter movement.
