Admittedly its from about a year ago but I looked back and couldn't find it. Its honestly a really interesting concept and really well done with a few exceptions. I'd love to see more from this guy but I looked and couldn't find anything
Yeah I have seen it, it's pretty fucking amazing, even tho the technological design is a bit of nonsense (cluster bombs or a big singular all consuming explosion, choose, dude), but the mood and spirit of it are almost unmatched. When I first ran into it I watched it like five times.
It's like backwards Wall-E
so is there a longer film that this is a trailer for or what?
Just a sole artist showing off. Must have taken reasonably long.
Just a sole artist showing off. Must have taken reasonably long.
I'm pretty sure it's a portfolio piece.
What was this thing even made in? It seems to exist in this curious middleground between a CGI movie and a very high spec game.
I find this both fascinating and disturbing
Holy shit, the atmosphere in this is like something out a dream that sits with you throughout the following day. And the reveal of the bombed city with the wonderfully subtle, eerie soundtrack is masterful.
I require more of this style. What is this style even called?
I require more of this style. What is this style even called?
It reminds me of the earlier films by Studio Ghibli, like Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind for example; I think the guy who made this was heavily inspired by Miyazaki's sci-fi aesthetics, check out the gunships at 1:30 in the trailer.

I agree but more run down.
I agree but more run down.
rustpunk then?
