Its taken me about 4 years so far to create and is a mix of Lego stock models, models modified for my own purposes, others original works and of course my own.
That's some dedication

Can't say I wouldn't do the exact same thing if I had a ton of disposable income.
If you think that's depressing then you haven't seen Cobi City.
Guy needs video stabilization, all the shaking made me a bit dizzy.
Pretty funny though. Laughed at the macecop reference.
I think this man has some issues.
Don't worry folks, they're all gonna be okay.
I'll be honest, is there a functional difference between this and building a miniature train town? I'd argue that the only major difference is that Lego is primarily a children's line, and doesn't cost quite as much as most model train sets.
In that regard, I'm not sure I'd really regard this as childish. A bit morbid, but it's interesting enough, and it seems like he has a fairly healthy hobby. At least he's doing something moderately constructive with his time.
Oh my god the pepper spray scene. :v:

Imagine lighting that whole city on fire
Holy shit that is one impressive LEGO city with loads of funny references thrown in.

a lot more than moderate i mean he did construct an entire city
The guy sounds so cheerful that I can't help but like the video.

Dead inside more like it
imagine throwing a bowling ball at it
Just imagine how much of a pain it would be if he ever had to move house.
This isn't even that autistic, I give it 2/10 autisms at best.
Looks like an average hobby.

The only reason anyone's even throwing around the word "autism" is because it's LEGO. If it were a 1:76 scale city made of foamcore and balsa wood, with a little train running through it and an older man in a conductor's hat doing the video, it'd be perfectly normal.
There's such a stigma against things like LEGO after a certain age, and I'm not sure I understand why. Yes, it's marketed as a children's toy. But a lot of adults buy the sets as well. The LEGO Movie scored second-highest with the 17-19 and 19-21 age ranges. It's fundamentally no different than model kits, or train towns.
Honestly, I think it's kind of cool. It's a different sort of hobby, but there's nothing inherently wrong or childish about it. There are some pop culture and news references, and it's fairly well-organized and designed. It's probably a heck of a lot cheaper than a 1:76 scale train scene as well.

That PewDiePie channel is an imposter.

Yeah, it would be weird if it was weirdly specific or a collection of buildings that made no sense to anyone but himself, but he's made a normal looking lego town with a bunch of interesting and original scenes being played out.

This guy really showed no clear signs of autism, unless you think being enthusiastic about a hobby is an autistic quality.
Honestly I take this to be comedy.

I completely disagree. Plenty of "train fanatics" are the butt of jokes. Hell, they are usually insulted as being "weird" or "autistic" way more than LEGO builders.
Personally, I don't have an issue with it so long as you aren't obsessive with it. Treat it like a hobby, not a lifestyle, because believe it or not there are many other people in your life (your significant other for example) that would like you in their life and not spending your days building a train set/LEGO city/whatever the fuck.
Basically, don't be obsessive about, well, anything. It can ruin relationships and turn you into an annoying human being.
Depressing?? THIS IS SO AWESOME! The dedication he has is remarkable and he sounds so cute and enthusiastic and happy about his creation!

I think when a train hobbyist or whatever you want to call it buys train simulator plus all of the DLC then there might be a problem
