then you breath in this vapourised alcohol and whammo your lungs absorb it into your bloodstream

It's pretty bad. It doesn't get filtered through your liver.
There's stories of people getting liquor enemas and dying because 100% of the alcohol gets into their blood.

doubt it
the alcohol in vodka boils around 78 celsius and the hooka liquíd base is never near that temperature. you're not smoking the water
small amounts might get into your bloodstream but i doubt it would even be noticeable on a breathalyzer, however it will add flavour which is likely the cause as to why people think they get drunk from it
im sure this guy knows it's bad, if it is at all for him, he's a professional eater, ranked like #17 in the world last time i checked
