I don't know what it is about noise and experimental music. It just sounds really cool. A Noise Mario remix: Experimental stuff, Aphex Twin is great.
Rockstar of noise.
Anything by Health. <3 Masonna, Merzbow, Melt Banana. <3 My god I love noise. experimental genres are awesome too. [editline]10:30PM[/editline] Masonna is fucking awesome too. [editline]10:30PM[/editline] Wait I said that I just spelled it wrong.
I played a noise concert on May 30th as this gallery/production society downtown, it was sweet. I'll post the video once I get it. I'd also like to recommend Pain Jerk, Guilty Connector, Prurient, Sutcliffe Jugend, Kazumoto Endo, and Navicon Torture Technologies since we're talking noise.
lol masonna is a load of shit... AAAGHBLAARGH BZXZZZTBFFFRRRBT AAAGBFFZZZARRRGGGGGGG Merzbow, on the other hand, can be really good
Masonna's recorded stuff is really really powerful but it does get boring. His live shows, on the other hand, are unparallelled.
Opinion: I do not like noise music. It's not creative. I find it to be utter rubish.
Try Faux Pride or Mafia VS Ninja or better yet try listening to Cactus Smaher or Hatesound also Aphex Twin does IDM. heres a good example of Noizecore (extreme noise) Faux Pride- Third Dimension I love this one .
yeah noise is okay, I don't listen to much straight noise these days though. Maybe I will come back with some videos of bands I like later.
wow you kids these days with all your power electronics
Melt Banana, OOIOO, HEALTH, Merzbow, Sunn, Current 93, Ulver, Lotus Eaters, Ascend, Pentemple, Bohren & der Club of Gore, Ginnungagap, Grave Temple Aidan Baker, and Stephen O'Malley. Some of my favorite that I consider experimental. I like HEALTH, but I think just 100% pure noise in a song is maybe taking it a little too far.
Yah, I love noise, Soulja boy is the shit. I'm sorry, I shouldn't say such hurtful things about Noise. But on topic, I , <3 Funny Little Man by Aphex Twin.
Experimental is great. Some Noise here and there is pretty good. I like Sunn O)))'s new album, I think that's pretty experimental. Also Pentemple was cool. Bakbakwalanooksiwae is pretty good Black/Noise.
Experimental is okay, noise is very hit and miss
Sunn O))):love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love: And fuckin' Pentemple. Oh god mmm.
I'm more experimental than noise. My favourite band has got to be Einstürzende Neubaten.
Neither of the examples you posted are noise and/or experimental. They're both IDM/Drum and Bass.
I'm amazed at this thread, there have been absolutely no retarded anti-noise comments! Kamikaze mentioned Current 93, who I also strongly recommend. If you like that kind of thing you also badly need to check out Rome. He started in 2006 and has put out one album every year since then, and they all kickass. It's really amazing that someone can actually do that with music that actually needs to be composed and arranged before it's recorded.

I remember I listened to one album (which name unfortunately leaves my mind) and I was amazed the entire way through.
I love noise rock, and experimental music if you want some good noise rock bands, check out: HEALTH, AIDs Wolf, Lightning bolt, Neptune, Dan Deacon (he's electronic noise, not noise rock), Animal Collective, Ex Models, Sonic Youth's really early albums (Bad Moon Rising and Confusion is Sex), Indian Jewellry, Fuck Buttons and Neptune. Anything on Lovepump United Records (such as HEALTH and AIDS Wolf) is gold. Experimental Bands: Holy Fuck, Animal Collective, Crystal Castles, Dan Deacon, DD/MM/YYYY, Teeth Mountain and Future Islands
Animal Collective. <3
Cows = very well-executed noise rock. Check them out.
I don't think Animal Collective is the kind of experimental we're talking about here
Sunn O))):love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love::love: And fuckin' Pentemple. jesus christ, this genre shit is confusing me
Yeah, just listen to what sounds good to you. Don't listen to me, dude. It's a bad habit

Jeez, when I heard noise and expiremental stuff, I thought it was gonna be I-Doser or something. No idea this genre even existed. It's pretty cool, though.
