Dr. Susan Klugman, MD, director of reproductive genetics at Montefiore Medical Center in New York explained the Cancer disease occurs when the cells in the body starts dividing out of control. He adds, the body mechanism for controlling the cell division may cease to work sometimes perfectly as people age. Eventual understanding of blood cancer’s complex genetics may allow the researchers to assess the risk of a person or else help them in identifying new avenues in the cancer treatment.
So the reason why we have organ failure and shit is because you're body is killing itself to stop cancer. Or something. I think.
We already knew cancer ignores the signal to stop dividing, but this article explores if that trait in blood cancer is linked to genetic mutations. The fact that you have organ failure is because all of your organs are being cluttered with malign infinitely replicating cells, and the white blood cells that remain wage battle inside there.
How many variants of this gene are there? It would be interesting to know if you could test people for this defective gene to tell them their chances.

Also Thrax.
I really thought we knew this already? That all cells have a maximum number of times they can divide before they kill themselves off, and that most cancers are caused by those things being broken.
i'll get cancer and live forever
