After Rome II I might sit this one out or wait a week or 2 after release. It looks like fun but not worth the $45

holy shit I cannot urge you enough to not do this
CA cannot be trusted with pre-release money at all or else we'll get another Empire/Rome 2.

I only ever played Shogun 2 and I loved it, and I was really excited for Rome II. But I ended up not even buying it for almost an entire year because of its high price and the absolutely awful launch and bugs.
There's literally no reason for not waiting a week after a game comes out to see if it's a big messy pile of bugs and it's not another big deal to wait a month or two for them to get patched.
I beg people to listen to this man.

I don't know why everyone is saying this, Attila has been given out to people for pre-release testing, and a lot of the players gave positive reviews. They were not paid, as DarrenTotalWar released a video talking about what he didn't like. Most companies would try to snuff that criticism.
They have also promised mod tools to be released soon after the game is out
I really wish CA would release their vid making tool, that would be sweet.

And on the preorder thing, Inhaven't regretted a single Total War pirchase of mine, Rome II included.

I'm still getting it on sale, because after the amount of money I spent on preordering a buggy and unplayable game that took loads of patches and time to fix I don't think I should pay the price they are offering.

CA really needs to earn my trust back over the course of a long period of time for me to do something like buy a game of theirs on release.
"By what name will they know you"
Sir Restarts of Campaigns
After pre-ordering Rome II I'll keep my distance from Attila. I'll let the brainless zombie fans have their way with it first and watch everything with binoculars.:quagmire:
Yeah I've heard about CA's crap so I'm waiting for reviews first.
But gotta say, as someone who hasn't played a Total War game, and as a beginning strategy fan, I'm liking the look of this one.

IM BRAINLESS BUT MY MONEY IS TO.
Uhh, is Attilla the Hun really a huge asshole in real life? I don't think this game do a realistic representation of this ancient Mongolian. Wait, he is Mongolian right?
No, I always mix up the Huns and Mongols too, but the Mongols were a bit later and their empire was a tad bit greater than that of the Huns.

Generally speaking if you conquered vast amounts of land it usually came with the precondition that you were a huge asshole. Romans included.

That's great.
Don't buy it yet.

"A bit later" in this case is the better part of a millenium
