The one where he played Chess against these grand masters was a pretty good show. As far as the Power of Suggestion stuff... Nope, I don't buy into that crap at all
He asked for more switches?
What the fuck
Blocked here in the UK. Wanted to see what it was but i can't.
That's amazing, [sp]I didn't expect any of them to actually do it, but once they did, I also wasn't expecting one of them to not do it.[/sp]
This takes place in England, right? Then why did they use American measurements (yards)?
Not bad. Good watch.
What? Channel 4 blocked the content in my country, and Channel 4 IS in my country...
Watched all the way to the end, beginning seemed promising, then I just knew it was fake.
Derren Brown kicks ass.
i'm almost done with his book tricks of the mind. he's really legit - his hypnotism skills are incredible.
subliminal communication can be VERY effective if used correctly and Brown has pretty much mastered it.

They always block it here. It's available on their site though.

more derren brown
This is bullshit. Hypnotism does not exist in the sense that most people think it does with the durr hurr mind control.
IT IS NOT POSSIBLE. The person is willingly doing what the person tells them to do.

i'm sure you've studied the human brain long enough to come to a statement such as that.

He finds the most suggestible willing people he possibly can and sneakily, with their consent and openness to suggestion, programs them to steal from the guard. It's not hurr durr mind control, it's subtly convincing them to do something terrible.
Think of it this way: he sold them on a few ideas, put them into a certain situation, and let them put two and two together. Kind of an oversimplification, but it's a lot closer to what happened than "hurr durr mind control."

Way to watch the video there guy.
This takes place in England, right? Then why did they use American measurements (yards)?
uuuuh yards exist in england too.
Whoa.
That is some seriously awesome mind working. It reminds me a lot of those books that claim 'subtly convince your boss to do anything!' Kind of things, except, this only preyed on the minds, and didn't exactly have a trigger. It pulled off of programming and subtle messages.
Again, I say, Amazing.
That was an amazing watch.
It weirded me out to see them in such a frenzy after they stole the money. I bet that moment felt very dream-like to them.

You do realise it's called Imperial units for a reason
