Title says it all. Its a tiny bug, around 2-3 mm long and its behind my screen. I can see it moving around and i cannot get it out. Any ideas? [editline]04:28PM[/editline] Its annoying as fuck!
What kind of laptop do you have?
Punch your screen to get it out.
squish it
Smoke it out Try shorting the battery, that'll provide sufficient fumes. Then post results. edit: On someone elses computer
Pictures could help us address the situation.
Take a screenshot/print screen :downs:
It's most likely a thunderbug, I have one in my screen (dead though) and the best way to remove it is to turn the screen off so it doesn't get attracted to the light and leave it like that for a while. Just make sure it doesn't die as they're hard to remove and REALY annoying
It's attracted to the back light. Turn the laptop off for a bit and it will crawl out. [editline]0[/editline] Actually; open MSPaint and flood fill with black. Hold Ctrl+I and the screen will strobe. Hopefully it will have some sort of seizure and die.
Trace its path using paint and the secrets of the universe will be revealed
Take a screenshot/print screen :downs:
That aint going to help the situation!!! :byodood:
:ninja:
Taking a screenshot wont help. Its actually BEHIND the screen, it isnt being projected onto the screen. Im using a Acer Aspire 5542. Ive tried to squash it but i dont want to damage the display and squashing it would just make it stay there.... Its vanished for a little while, but i expect it to be back soon.
As said earlier, pictures are needed. [editline]fuck[/editline]Take it without flash.
That aint going to help the situation!!!
You see the smiley after the post. that post you quoted, yeah that one. What is it called?
I dont have a camera as im on holiday with my friend. Anything else i could try to make sure it doesnt come back? I suppose i could just turn it off for a while...
Put a picture of a lady bug right next to it and observe nature
Go into paint, draw a spider on a web. Or a hammer, or a can of bug-spray. Watch as it shits itself!
Go into paint, draw a spider on a web. Or a hammer, or a can of bug-spray. Watch as it shits itself!
all over your beautiful matte-black screen.
