Hillary Clinton is expected on Sunday to announce, via video and social media, her intention to seek the Democratic presidential nomination in 2016, a Democrat close to the Clinton camp told Reuters on Friday.
The relatively low-key announcement is a recognition that the former secretary of state and wife of former President Bill Clinton, viewed as the heavy favorite for the nomination, already has huge name recognition and needs an uncomplicated start to the long campaign ahead.
...
Clinton appears likely to face limited competition for the Democratic nomination. Former Virginia Senator Jim Webb and former Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley are among the few Democrats to take steps toward a bid so far.

Surprise!
I didn't see this one coming!
Bet she announces her announcment to run on sunday
Please no
Oh god we're all gonna die.
What's with all the announcements for announcements?
Aahahaahahahaa.
Good luck. Maybe she'll get a "concussion" before the debates.
Seriously. She has so much shit against her to be effective anymore.
At this rate it looks to be more of a Coronation bid than a Presidential bid, since she has no serious competition according to the opinion polls.
Better then the republican candidates, but I won't be cheering if she wins.
Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley are among the few Democrats to take steps toward a bid so far.
im voting Clinton because fuck O'Malley
If Hillary wins, the country will have been under the control of 3 families for the past 32 years. If she gets 2 terms, and Jeb Bush (pls no) somehow gets 2 terms the country will have been in 3 families control for 44 years. Maybe by that time some of the Obama children will be ready to run for office!

Hillary is such an awful person. She's a war mongering interventionist, corrupt through and through, and has no morals. When she was a lawyer, she had a case where she got her client, a rapist, free on a technicality, and laughed about it.
Also she totally made a deal with Bill. "we won't divorce as long as you never go into politics again, and get me in instead."

Oh, the rape victim was 12
If the primaries lead to a Bush vs Clinton run...
:suicide:
And Hillary victim blamed and said it was her fault she got raped.

She has too much negative history I can't imagine she'd get that far.
Come on everyone say it with me.

aka even if you aren't a democrat PLEASE VOTE IN PRIMARIES.
PRIMARY ELECTIONS ARE IMPORTANT.
You don't want hillary? THEN VOTE FOR SOMEONE ELSE! I don't care how "favored" she is, she was also favored vs Obama/in 2007/2008.
If you aren't one of these states then I'm sorry.

We're fucked.
I have no clue where to start with how much I despise her. Her political stances are all over the place, and she has a habit on pissing on everyone's shoes in the name of corporations.
Also thank fucking christ I live in North Dakota with pure and open primaries. I'm going to make sure to vote for Bernie Sanders in the Democrat-NPL primaries, and if given the chance, I'll vote for Heidi Heitkamp.
Why do people not like her?
Why do people not like her?
Pick a reason at random and you will probably land on something true. She's a terrible politician and a worse person.
I hope to god she doesn't win the primary
My vote is for Gary Johnson. He said in November that he'll run; hoping it'll come true.

Outside of not wanting a constant cycle of family dynasties running my country(Clinton/Bush Dynasty), I truly cannot see myself ever voting for Hillary Clinton because not only she's a flip-flopper, but she has said some pretty screwed up shit. She is against several acts of protest, including flag burning and open chanting protesting and has said in the past that she would move to outlaw these activities.
She, not her husband, was responsible for the 1994 Assault Weapon Ban, as well as having a hand in the creation of the 1986 Hughes Amendment. So she tends to be on the badside of a few million gun owners. Ever since the decisions in Heller v. District of Columbia(2008), she has stated a number of times that she would like to reinstate the AWB, as well as force a registration if possible.
She has petitioned in the past to have video games either cleaned of violence or given such harsh restrictions that they'd require larger warnings of violence in video games. Such is so that she supported legislation that was pretty much word-for-word Jack Thompson's drivel back in the early 2000's, and she has continued to say she would do this type of thing over and over again. Going as far as to say, "Grand Theft Auto is corrupting our children!"
She supports the Death Penalty for certain crimes like murder, and she believes the whole eye for an eye concept.
On numerous occasions, she has attempted to push legislation that would give tax exemptions for companies and corporations she is involved with.
Seriously, I can go on and on. These are some of my personal grudges, but she has a bad habit of making really, really bad legislation. Oh yeah, which reminds me... She also has asked for intervention with Iran, greater intervention in Afghanistan, and wants to support further surveillance of US citizens, as well as our allies.

best case scenario
Facepunch not supporting the Liberal candidate? What madness is this?

most here seem to support bernie sanders over her which i completely agree with
How long has facepunch loved Bernie Sanders? I remember his name coming up a lot in 2012
I'm voting for Hilary because I want to see the world burn.
