Did anyone else feel like the trailer was too swear-y for BGE? I was watching it, and I was like "talking pig people in a grungy sci-fi setting, gotta be BGE", but then the constant F-bombs made me suspect otherwise. I never actually finished the first game, and it's been forever since even that, but I remember it being pretty PG.

If it is, might be like Shenmue where the Kickstarter is to gauge demand while reaching a portion of the budget. Ubi might already have a budget for the game on hold.

Not jade, it's a prequel. Which makes me wonder how many times they've restarted development given that early teaser trailer and supposed gameplay leak from years back did show Jade, whereas this version is now for a complete prequel lol

When most of the fans are now adults...seems pretty appropriate for the new game to be geared towards more mature audiences.

Yeah, it's not necessarily a bad change, just something that threw me off a bit. It doesn't affect the actual substance of the story.

Well, BGE focused on a duo of a human female and a male pig, so they might have been trying to resonate with that. We also only saw what, four characters in total? It might not even have been deliberate. Quit panicking about the chance that you might enjoy a game that doesn't align itself 100% with your political identity.

I mean there are females of the animal races in BGE1 and this is the first actual footage of 2 which isn't a great deal to go off of.
