This guy's been missing 4 days now, he's used to live in my town and I know him sorta well, such a nice guy. Any Facepunchers who are in the Bristol area, it'd be fantastic of you to post this onto people you know. Help widen the search. http://www.avonandsomerset.police.uk/LocalPages/NewsDetails.aspx?nsid=23561&t=1&lid=1
Police are appealing for the public's help to trace a 19-year-old who has been missing since a night out on the weekend. William Appleby, who lives in Bond Street, Bristol was last seen at Motion nightclub at Avon Street at around 2am yesterday (Sunday 12th June 2011). Police are growing increasingly concerned for his safety as his disappearance is out of character. William is 6ft tall, with short dark brown hair and was last seen wearing a blue shirt and jeans. Anyone who has seen him or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact Bristol CID on 0845 456 7000 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Thank you, and I hope he's found soon enough.
Its horrible when people go missing for a few days and it just leaves you thinking that if there wasnt a problem they would have turned up or contacted someone already. I hope nothing horrible has happened to him.
As depressing as it is, usually when this shit happens the result ends up being pretty negative :/ A guy that used to go to my school (only other Scottish guy than me at that school at the time) went back to Scotland. Went missing after a party one night. They found him dead in a river a few days later, stabbed repeatedly and left for dead. Of course hopefully this all turns out well and it turns out he was just at a friends house for a few days and forget to tell someone, but as the old saying goes: hope for the best, but expect the worst.
Ill keep an eye out on the net but please post in here if there are any updates.
I REALLY don't mean to sound like a dick but if you are on about the Bristol in the south west of England then people go missing all the time as it's one of the roughest towns (it's actually a city) in the UK, I know this because I was bought up there. The best places to go looking for him are Leigh Woods ('t other side of the suspension bridge) and The Clifton Downs, also ask the police to check the Gorge when the waters up and the Docks & Waterfront area in the city centre (where all those swanky bars are) 2 of my very close friends went missing in Bristol when I was younger and it is very sadly accepted as a fact of life that happens, which is why I moved away as soon as I could. If you don't mean the Bristol in England then disregard anything I've said above. Really sorry to hear about your loss though, especially when it's someone who's really nice, the world could do with less assholes and more nice people, why is it always the nice people who go missing :(
Most likely got his kidneys harvested and then dumped somewhere

But then again they're one of the biggest mdma dealers in the city and live in a really nice apartment and gets paid to do drugs all day so no wonder she says it's nice. this is pretty bad, Millie Dowler went missing a 5 minute walk from my house and that was horrible since my brother and a bunch of other people around here were pretty good friends with her :(
You get paid to do drugs? What kind of a job is that?
An awesome one by the sounds of things! I mean I don't do any illegal drugs at all, but if people offered me drugs AND money I'd be inclined to take the offer.
I live in Trowbridge, bit far to look around tbh...

Oh man, this is really sad :smith:
I usually never get sad when I read about a person that has died on the internet, but this time.. :smith:
:smith: RIP Will Appleby
I feel shit that I was right. I was going by the thought process that I put forward (hope for the best, expect the worst) but it doesn't make it any less depressing :frown:
