Cirillo was killed Wednesday while standing guard in front of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Ottawa.
The reservist with the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders was father to a young son. He was also a passionate lover of dogs and of other animals.
What is wrong with people anymore? Is there no reverence for the dead?

It's so weird, I think I know more about this guy than I do about myself. It's rather disrespectful what they're doing to him.
what the hell is this news about ?
way to dissect every facets of a dead person's life to have some kind of news to push out.
I'm confused about the picture with the cat, is it staged?
My question is why isn't the Canadian Soldier who died by a hit and run being reported on as well?
I mean not to dismiss any deaths at all, but it seems a bit unequal.
Is it because the one guy is an older soldier, while this guy was a younger handsome soldier?
I could see that affecting news..
it's easily seen that they are trying to push an agenda through these tragedies.
a canadian patriot act of some sorts

Yeah, it's absurd how far the media will dig just to shit out something for the ratings.
We'll be hearing about this man and what kind of fucking cereal he ate every morning for the next week, before some other tragedy draws the watchful, cyclopean eye of the media for them to obsess and fear-monger over.
It's sad how hard it is to find decent news where people just, you know, give out useful information without pushing a fucking agenda or fear mongering just to rake in ratings.
It's kind of sad that if I were to die right now, the only thing that would patiently still wait for me to come home would be my front door.
-snip-
This isn't news.

This is messed up. Leave the poor guy's family to mourn in peace.

Joan Allen is looking rather dog-ish in this poster

I've always associated Richard Gere with what a human Lassie would look like.

Aw just like Odysseus' puppy
If you guys are so offended by the fact that someone did an article on a shooting victim, why are you reading the article? It only increases readership.
Just to say, they need to make a period of silence or some law where a family who has lost a person to this kind of crap can tell the media to just go fuck themselves and leave them alone for a few months or so.
Sorry to heard.
Because the killer was a muslim and violence from muslims is called "terrorism" in the media
