i have a question for anyone with a solar energy only house. i am looking to convert my house to solar energy and i'd like to eventually get the tax rebate of course, but i hear you have to stay tied on the grid to get the rebate. this true or not?
Yes, because you need to feed power back into the grid (supplying power for others) to get the rebate.
How would you actually afford to stay off the grid with solar unless you spend a shitload of money on batteries, defying the whole purpose of solar in economic and ecologic means?
