just noting that /r/games which is the biggest serious gaming community on reddit (not to be confused with the maymay shitstorm known as r/gaming) banned this video from hittin the frontpage along with anything else involving the kotaku blacklist.

Well Jim.. we can't take Kotaku out of the equation. Using political journalism as an example, I wouldn't judge any company or official for telling the DailyMail or Infowars to fuck off.
I won't lie, I often like Jim's unscripted introductions and endings better than his actual content. Which isn't to say I dislike his content, I just like the unscripted bits better.
"I'm... I'm replacing this lectern. This is buuuuuuullshiiiiiiiit."
Y'know, I started off disliking Jim, finding him tacky and obnoxious. Now I find him an inspiration and absolutely entertaining to watch.
I should not have initially judged him by his 'cover.'
I did the same thing. I always had the impression he was going for a "greasy neckbeard" act which didn't really appeal to me, but as I see more of his content he makes good points about gaming.
Yep, Jim doesn't really help himself. He tends to make good points but I genuinely wish he'd act more respectably, it's not exactly fun when a big figurehead representing the opinions of a large portion of gamers intentionally speaks and acts like Jim does.
I do agree with him on this though.
