I just searched him on IMDB. 6 Oscar nominations, holy shit. And people made memes about Leo never winning an Oscar.

It's no wonder he went on a brodyquest, he must of been searching for an oscar
hes used Brody pretty frequently for a while now
In case it wasn't obvious, this was directed by the director of the Grand Budapest Hotel.
Excuse me; he's known as the director of The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, thank you very much.
How dare you ignore his crowing achievement?

I am surprised that it's a Wes Anderson film and no Bill Murray. He seems to always have him on board for whatever he does.
This is super charming despite being an ad.

If you haven't you should totally watch Hotel Budapest, it's basically just this ad but feature length and with a few more murders.
I love how Wes only ever moves the camera in cardinal directions and rotates it by 90 degrees at a time in GBH and this advert.
(Also in GBH people never walk diagonally i think, same rules as the camera)
Ya, Wes' use of space in his movies is immaculate.

I have, and Moonrise Kingdom, and bits of Life Aquatic and Royal Tenenbaums. Wes Anderson is great, and this is him at some of his most Wes Anderson-y (which really is him every movie).
Don't forget the best entry into Anderson, Fantastic Mr. Fox
Wes Anderson has done a ton of commercials

Fantastic Mr. Fox was also Wes Anderson right?

Yes. Excellent movie.
Lot's of film people are split about Wes Anderson's style. People seem to love him or hate him.
Personally, I adore his style.
I really really really want a new Wes Anderson movie now.
I could've watched a whole movie with that commercial's premise.
I love that you can always tell when it's Wes Anderson.
Not just the visual style, but everything within it also seems anachronistic and whimsical.
Honestly I'm glad Wes has a style in general. It's so hard to find a director nowadays who has a style that they explore and develop. You can pick out a great director when they have a style and stick religiously to it, especially when they've developed it to be usable in multiple situations.
[sp]for instance i just have the biggest boner for jj abrams' spinny camera okay i love style[/sp]

According to IMDB, he's working on another stop-motion movie about dogs Starring Bryan Cranston, Edward Norton, Bill Murray, Jeff Coldblum and Bob Balaban.
That's all I know.

Well, there's a whole movie on a train starring Adrien Brody (and Jason Schwartzman and Owen Wilson) called The Darjeeling Limited.
Fashion houses are making pretty good short movies now

This made me go and check out The Grand Budapest Hotel.
I was not disappointed. I crave more.
GBH is one of my favorite movies. It's got perfect comedic timing and is so uniquely directed. It was actually my first exposure to Wes Andersson.
Odd for me seeing Brody in this when seeing him as a cold, prick mercenary in Predators a few days ago.
Anderson's style and the holidays are a great match.
