Just wanted to share this blog post with the rest of FP.
Why, why do some vegans have to be like this? Honestly, I'm cool with veganism and all that nonsense, as long as they don't try to shove their way of life and beliefs down my throat... but I believe that woman crossed the line.
Personally, I would have laughed at that woman in her face, uncontrollably--right after that, I would have kicked her ass out of my apartment.

I think its pretty stupid when people like that ask you to be wary of their "beliefs" when it comes to veganism. I'm not the tolerant one eh? What about you and making me go out of my way to just enjoy a meal. I had a friend like this and he would frequently eat alone at lunch when we had meat. Now I'm fine with that because at least he is not making the majority suffer for the sake of the minority.
I don't care if people are vegan but when you start to intrude on normal peoples life styles then it gets rediculous. I mean hell, we were CREATED to eat meat. Our K9s are proof of that!
do they realize how unhealthy it is for them to be vegan? my brother is an EMT and most of his calls that involve some kind of food poisoning come from vegans, they dont get enough nutrition from vegetables etc. and they end up with food poisoning when they eat something with traces of animal fat or meat

Ok here's what you do. It's gonna cost a [b]LOT[/b] of money but it'll be worth it.
Go to your local Warehouse-style store (CostCo, Sam's Club, etc) And buy all the bulk meat you can.
Next, you're gonna want to stuff the meat in every closed space in her room (In her pillow cases, in the drawers, and anywhere else that isn't visible at first glance). AFTER you've finished laying that out, cover her toothbrush with raw meat. And then if you aren't dead by the time she sees all this, mission accomplished!

How does this shit never work both ways? It's always, you're not considerate of [i]my[/i] beliefs and therefore must conform to them. Veganism, Christianity, Atheists, whatever, it's like when some asshole has a belief that's important to him suddenly everyone must conform to it or they're bigots.
Host an all meat (no salad) barbecue celebrating a ficticious "meat day" with a huge banner that says "HAPPY MEAT DAY!" with balloons confetti.
Things to cook:
1. Steak
2. Filet mignon
3. Cheeseburgers
4. Baby back ribs
5. A full pig
and anything else you can think of.

Vegans are stricter than vegetarians. They believe that honey, and everything else (EVERYTHING) that is an animal product is bad.
Vegetarians, in turn, are stricter than ovi-lacto-vegetarians, who do not hesitate to eat eggs and milk.

Honey is the one vegan thing that doesn't make any sense to me. They are in no way harmed by taking their honey. And they're bees.
That and eggs/milk from local farms. I understand the idea that chickens and cows are kept in bad conditions in general, but there's nothing wrong with getting eggs from your farmer's market.
But I don't really care, people can be vegan if they want, it doesn't bother me.

The hilarious thing about some vegans is that they think it would be better if people stopped harvesting milk from cow, and instead started drinking, and making ice cream, butter, etc out of human breast milk.
