[release] Maniacal devotion to MMORPG powergaming is exemplified by this player of top asteroid mining simulator Eve Online – careful arrangement of his computers allows him to simultaneously control 12 accounts at once, an impressive if profoundly dubious feat. Supposedly this arrangement was required in order to avoid being identified and banned as a bot or macro user. Just how much ISK he can earn in an hour is not specified.[/release] Source: Sankaku Complex Wow... just wow... If he rearranged his monitors differently (6x1 portrait mode), that'd make a SWEET Eyefinity gaming rig! What a waste :/ EDIT: Click <-- That guy's own site (original source w/pics)
Great job failing. Content:
I love how the OP's comment is almost as nerdy as the article's subject.
Looks like the guy who had a bunch of WoW accounts and had 4 running per computer, he could do raids all by himself and got most of his toons fully geared.

That's sad. Paying $50 for entertainment is enough. I will never play a MMORPG because you need to keep paying, which in turn makes you want to play more, to get your money's worth, which leads to heavy addiction.

I don't understand how this person justifies playing this much and still manages to hold down a full time job? - I'm assuming the job part. If he's on benifits he needs to be shot.

Not saying this is you, but speaking in general. I find it funny that people bitch about paying 15 bucks for constant updates and new content a month. (Massive amounts of content depending on the game.) Then turn around and pay 15-20 dollars for DLC that will not even last them a week. (Perfect example, map packs. 5 maps for 15 dollars? Fuck that.)
This dude could make killer money compared to the fee.
With EVE, the game eventually pays for itself once you get to the higher levels (You can legally buy GTC's with ingame cash)

Assuming you put enough time into it, you could probably even make a living selling GTCs on the Bazaar.

What about that WoW guy that did his own raids with like 20+ orcs?
"simultaneously control 12 accounts at once" Am I the only one who found that redundant?
Try 36. http://www.geekologie.com/2008/10/guy_plays_36_world_of_warcraft.php
If that was my room I would watch 36 different porn videos at the same time.
if your parents come in, you might as well carry on fapping because there is no way you could minimize 10 screens all at once.
Say it was all pop-ups.

I want to see someone come in with 12 attack ships and fuck him over
Looks like the guy who had a bunch of WoW accounts and had 4 running per computer, he could do raids all by himself and got most of his toons fully geared.
Half the fun of playing WoW is playing with other people.
Dude plaing 2 games of eve is just pathetic.
In the game you can buy subscription time with in game cash I think, with 12 miners he could easily play without paying a cent.
he has a nice electric bill
Uh, playing eve online 12 times at once? I already had a hard time playing it once!
I struggle to keep a clear head when I have more than three or four windows (ones that I actually need to use) and have to switch between them. Just thinking of what he does is giving me a headache.
