Anyone seen this?
I just watched it, not even knowing it existed. It's an animated cartoon based on the events just prior to where the game picks up and even throws in a few 'scenes' that are actually in the game. It's actually pretty good, quite gory for a cartoon, lots of foul language and blood and heads being blown out and decapitated and limbs flying off, all that Dead Space goodness we've all come to know and love
It's on Netflix as well... It's a fun watch, came out about the same time the game did, and here's a wiki Copy Paste:

I thought it was pretty cool, though I made the mistake of watching it before I'd played the game, so without the game knowledge, the ending was weird as hell....
But once I played the game, it increased the movie's.. awesomeness :v:
It was okay, a few problem of this movie is the cursed word over-used in some part, background that looks like it's been made in cheesy CGI computer, the characters doesn't seems to respect each other and the story doesn't really focus in the game.
It's not that bad, but if they just focus more on the back-story from the game instead of made things up, it would be better.
The ending was sad and beautiful.
It was really a perfect ending for the movie.
I thought it was mediocre.
I have two friends who are obsessed with it and one of them won't stop going on about this. Dead Space is a bit... meh.

It was an okay movie. Could have had more tie-ins with the comics and the game tough.
Well it did show me how inept and retarded half the crew of the ship was.
I watched it and it made me want a plasma sword doohickey thing. Damn game, give me a sword!

Can anyone explain the ending of deadspace ? I only played like half and then watched the movie and the comics(Which is awesome) somehow lost intrest asking as i did not understand the ending of the movie

You mean those chainsaws? Dead Space 2 is getting them as usable weapons.
