JonTron is an online show/personality featuring Jon Jafari with his pet birds, Jacques, and more recently: Cinnamon!
His main shtick is typically playing/reviewing generally obscure games, such as the Bubsy series, Home Improvement, and Monster Bash, and even occasionally movies such as Birdemic and Food Fight. All this is done through a comedic script.
He used to co-host on Game Grumps with Arin Hanson a.k.a. Egoraptor, but has since retired from such to focus on his own works, as well as moving across the nation.

I like Jon and think that this whole mess about saying "retarded" is overblown but good lord has he been acting like a child over something that is objectively his fault for starting.
One guy asked him to not say "retarded" and then Jon insulted him for no reason and THAT'S where it ballooned off of. Since then, Jon has been churning out the most hysterical hypocritical nonsense that I've ever seen when all he'd really have to do is say "hey, I'm sorry I was rude to Ben Huber."

Its not his fault people actively try and find ways to get offended just so they can yell at people, if you get offended by what he said, you really do need thicker skin.

Some people went took it as "why are you trying to distract from the point with Gaza," others stayed on Jon's side.
It went back and forth, some people found hypocrisy amongst Jon's statements, whatever.

Eh, for me it's not about being offended; it's about the fact that it's part of creation of stigma against mentally and/or physically ill people. So, Jon being a goof as usual. Good to see some things never change.
I think people should understand that Jon isnt exactly a role model to look up to. He's a comedian. That's it. People say stupid-ass shit and have stupid-ass ideals, but depending what they do, it shouldn't really matter in Jon's case.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that just because he is big on youtube and undoubtably popular, doesn't mean is point of view, nor his ability to talk shit, is any different from any other random guy on the internet.
