Donald Trump has decided to postpone his first press conference as President-elect until January, two transition sources confirmed to CNN.
http://money.cnn.com/2016/12/12/media/donald-trump-news-conference-postponed/index.html
it should be noted in the OP this was how he was going to explain how he was going to divest himself of his businesses. so basically waited till there wasnt enough time to rage as the electoral college votes on the 19th and says we just gotta trust he'll do something...
hopefully it's only one term period
I'm optimistic about this administration ending with President Pence and VP Paul Ryan in 2020.
This is the candidate who had his phone taken from him on election day so he couldn't go on twitter and say stupid shit and have people change their minds at the last minute.
I'm more shocked at the people taking his phone away and still thinking he should be president.
I'm optimistic about this administration ending with President Pence and VP Paul Ryan in 2020.
Replacing a dumbfuck with extreme views with an above average intelligence asshole with extreme views doesn't give me optimism. Like I swear to christ that Pence is only there as a "fuck you" parting gift for when Trump is impeached.
I'm hoping that Trump will be a flawed yet good President at worst even if it's his only term ever if he screwed this country up we're all basically fucked so lets how he actually turns out to somehow be suprising in a positive way, if that's even possible. Though with everything (that I) know so far he will be an absolute disaster of a president

I don't think a lot of doomsday scenarios that some people have proposed will come to fruition but I have absolutely no optimism regarding income inequality, education, or the environment.
I seriously hope this is just a rumor and he proceeds with his conference as initially planned. What the hell happened to all of those people worried about the Clinton Foundation? Why aren't they worried about Trump and his countless of unresolved conflicts of interests?
something something confirmation bias and avoiding embarrassment - perhaps this is why some posters on here shouldn't treat politics like sport?
Maybe part of it is the threat title? We're not just talking about Trump's press conference being delayed.
I didn't direct it at you, just saying that many of the typical supporters are almost always absent [editline]13th December 2016[/editline] I find that absence to be a defeat in their reason of itself

I was merely trying to give others the benefit of the doubt. Compare "Trump postpones press conference until Jaunuary" to "Trump to postpone resolution of Presidential conflicts of interests until January" The first no one is going to give a shit about. Trump held press conferences all the time. The second would probably turn heads.
Saw on Reddit that Trump is the first president to have his first press conference over a month after the election (and counting). Most of his predecessors did it within days, or a week or two at most.
I read a post on reddit a bit ago where somebody jokingly said that Trump would wait until January. It's still hard to believe Trump won.
So becoming president was just some huge revenge joke against Obama and his huge burns years ago right? Can we just accept that Pence is our president already?
