I realized quickly that it was shovelware garbage when it kept on popping up on Steam under the new releases, but I didn't expect the man behind it all to be this manipulative if all that is said is true.
Ugh, the video quality of this video hurt my eyes. How did he fuck it up and still decide to release it?

I just find it a shame that artist who put so much effort into improving their craft and making something for a project ends up being either unpaid or paid scraps, then forced into a contract where they can't even work for themselves anymore while the contract isn't even enough to keep them fed properly. Even worse at the risk of losing their rights on whatever they made.
Sad to see some of my favorite artists get fucked over so hard, gonna go let some others know about this

Sadly, not the only case of this I've heard.
I have a friend who worked as an animator for someone who makes over $30k/mo on Patreon, and not only was he never once paid what he was promised (sometimes getting as little as half the promised rate), forced into a contract where he wasn't allowed to work on any of his own ideas for ~6 months, and was constantly verbally abused for the entire duration of the contract; but when he finally got out of his contract and refused to resign, said person went on a public tirade about how my friend scammed [b]him[/b] and was a terrible person to work with and basically just went on this giant smear campaign about it.
My friend responded in kind, only this time with actual chat-logs, pay-stubs, and contract snippets, which basically ousted every single point the asshole made as being falsified.
Unfortunately, said asshole has a lot of clout and a large following, so he managed to suppress my friend's counter while megaphoning his own lies, and got a sizeable portion of his following to collectively verbally abuse my friend.
Worst part of it all is I told said friend, going into this, that this was likely to happen - I have several other friends who have worked with this person, and it's been the same story every time. But he went through with it anyway.
