Now in its 21st year, the annual survey gives readers the chance to voice their opinions on the companies that have made their business travels more enjoyable. AT&T, for the third year in a row, has claimed the top spot among U.S. wireless providers. “We are truly honored that Business Traveler readers have once again chosen AT&T as having the Best Mobile Phone Coverage in the World,” said Bill Hague, executive vice president of International for AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets. “AT&T is committed to helping our customers stay connected to their world when traveling abroad. From offering more phones that work around the world to aggressively expanding our global voice and data footprint, we are thrilled our customers know they can count on AT&T for all of their international wireless needs.” AT&T operates a GSM/HSPA network, the worldwide standard for wireless, making it easy for customers to stay in touch with family, friends and business colleagues while abroad — all on the same wireless number and device they use at home. AT&T offers more than 40 world devices. AT&T customers can take these devices around the world, including Japan and South Korea, which require a device that operates on 2100 MHz.
This is good. My dad is a salesman for AT&T and gets paid based off of how many contracts he makes. Fun fact: The C++ programming language it based off of C is based off of B. B standing for Bell, as in AT&T & Bell. Someone working at Bell labs decided that B wasn't working for him, so he made C. AT&T is your god.
i have at&t and it is complete shit
In before Verizon goes batshit AT&T is awesome where i live so whatever
Bullshit they win after all that bitch slapping with Verizon?
Unlimited texting + Free calls to anyone who has at&t = FUCKIN YEA
i have at&t and it is complete shit
That is pretty good. I dunno why ( I'm in Ireland so I have no contact with AT&T ) but I had the idea that they were some sort of shit quality company.
Nice monopolies, AT&t
Lol, at&t has no coverage with 3g in alaska.
Now AT&T has a shiny award to shove up the lying and deceiving asses of Verizon for their misleading "Maps" commercials.
Somehow a map using solid colors that's created and used by a competitor doesn't resonate with me as evidence to their poor coverage. I get 5 bars with AT&T just about everywhere I live, except in my house. I get no coverage in my house. I walk out to the street and it's 5 bars, walk back inside - no bars. Everywhere else is perfect though. So strange.

AT&T has more worldwide coverage. You know, in random places nobody needs it...
Now AT&T has a shiny award to shove up the lying and deceiving asses of Verizon for their misleading "Maps" commercials.
You understand that the reason AT&T was mad about those commercials is that they're basically true? Unless you're being sarcastic :downs:
AT&T sucks., what are they smoking?
NO WAIT LOOK I HAVE A PRETTY MAP :downs: Oh damn, ninja'd. :saddowns: Anyway I have Verizon and my house gets shitty reception.
I live in Florida and used to have T-Mobile. We switched to AT&T because we could never get service with T-Mobile, even inside our own home. We haven't had a single problem with AT&T. I guess it just depends where you live in relation to the cell phone towers.
Now AT&T has a shiny award to shove up the lying and deceiving asses of Verizon for their misleading "Maps" commercials.
You realize the article says worldwide coverage right? Verizon still has more coverage in the U.S. So no, they aren't lying and/or deceiving.

I've always hated this chart. Sure verizon does have more area (Chart is accurate) but AT&T provides 3G service to 95% of areas where people ACTUALLY LIVE. This is about globally, and yes, globally AT&T does have a lot of service. In states Verizon is better, but all their phones suck. At least a year ago they did.
AT&T sucks, too expensive, too much to improve. I'll stick with Verizon...
Look guys AT&T sent us a link saying AT&T is the best! I'm so happy!
Would be on Verizon, but I love my Iphone too much.
Would be on Verizon, but I love my Iphone too much.
iPhones are incredibly overrated and there are way better phones out there.

I used to have sprint. Went from Wisconsin to key west, got 4 bars minimum down and back. Surfin the web on my palm trio.

Verizion made that up... It's not the True map.
Verizion made that up... It's not the True map.
They cannot lie on television ads. AT&T however, lied, and it was proven they lied.

3G Coverage ≠ to GSM/HSPA Coverage
Verizon > AT&T
I like at&t because the only person i text has at&t also, and we live in the d.c/metro area, so we get great coverage. that way i can talk to her for free without using my minutes. The bills pays for itself on my part. my BROTHER however...
