Energy Transfer Partners CEO Kelcy Warren also gave $100,000 to Trump's joint fundraising effort with the Republican Party, according to Federal Election Commission records. However, Hicks said the donation would not affect Trump's decision making when he takes office.
with his current cabinet being made up of almost exclusively high dollar donors I don't exactly buy it.
Wait until the situation settles itself, then align yourself with the winner. Smart.

is it stupid though? he's getting himself early brownie points before taking office.
Really getting sick of the way we set ridiculously low bars for Trump and then allow ourselves to feel relieved or impressed when he occasionally meets them.
As if Trump deserves special credit just for meeting the bare minimum standard for avoiding conflicts of interest, nevermind the fact that he publicly supports the DAPL. And he's considering the CEO of ExxonMobile for his secretary of state for fuck's sake.

Scummy is a good one.
Yes, he's selling a stock that's started to drop because it might lose a lot of money. He probably would have done this even if he'd lost the election, because it's only smart stock trading.

Exactly. People want to make money and we're sitting here trying to scrutinize trump for that. Wonderful

He's supposed to be the President-Elect, not a businessman. But people decided the leader of the country can be both. Do you not see how bad of an idea that is?
