MOSCOW, April 17. /ITAR-TASS/. Russia’s Aeroflot Airlines has warned its passengers about Kiev’s restrictions imposed on Russian citizens and Ukrainian citizens with registration in the Russian Republic of Crimea and the Russian federal city of Sevastopol to enter Ukraine, the website of the Russian air carrier reported on Thursday.
Citing an official notification of current Ukrainian authorities, Aeroflot listed categories of people who can be denied entry into Ukraine. So, all Russian male citizens aged from 16 to 60 will be denied crossing of Ukrainian state border. “The entry of this category of people will be made upon the decision taken by the chief of the regional department (the regional border guard unit) after passing controls only in emergency cases, if the documents are produced to verify they are relatives or to confirm death or heavy illness of close relatives, verified original invitations of legal entities and individuals on the strength of informing notes sent by the Ukrainian border service authorities,” the notification noted, adding that “without confirming documents, entry will be permitted only to Russian citizens who come with their families and children.”
Meanwhile, entry will be restricted to Ukrainian male citizens aged from 16 to 60 who are registered in Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. They will be permitted to cross the border only if they go to funeral services of close relatives or if they produce the documents about their heavy disease, have air tickets, tourist vouchers or on the strength of informing notes from the Ukrainian state border service authority. “Ukrainian female citizens aged from 20 to 35 who are registered in Crimea and the city of Sevastopol will be permitted to enter Ukraine only after checks,” the notification runs.
What's the best is that their Minister of Foreigh Affairs found out about this from mass media. This in coup with beating of president candidates representing Eastern Regions and "request to clean up bomb shelters at Kiev"... just wow.

Althought it's funny it's quite sad in reality. It's no secret to anyone that in last month it was already problematic for anyone with Russian Passport to cross Ukrainian border - people who are completely irrelevant to current events getting stuck in airport, or taken to hours long interrogations. There are reports of some families denied entry althought their visit for Easter celebration was planned long before whole mess.
