• Who here voted up Prop 19 today?

If yes, Voted it up, sparked a joint outside the building. The cop was like "Not till they are counted" and shooed me away, but let me keep the joint. I think it is going to pass. All the talk in the line was about supporting Prop 19. Celebrating with a bowl of White Widow.
I'm 17 :frown: My mom voted for prop 203 though (medicinal in AZ)
I'm 17 :frown: My mom voted for prop 203 though (medicinal in AZ)
Even better! Spreading the green medicine movement.
Should it pass, when will it go into effect?
I believe propositions are immediate. It feels like when Prop 8 passed gay marriage was stopped immediately.
Day after the election.
brbgoingtocali
Cali will surely become known as "New Amsterdam", where every city will be a tourist hotspot for bud.
It's not as great as you think it is, there are still a lot of limitations. You'll only be able to have an ounce, and the only places you will be able to smoke is in a private place, or a public place that's licensed for on site marijuana consumption. Still, it's the first step of legalization and decriminalization everywhere http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/California_Proposition_19_(2010)
I heard latest polls showed it was losing.

Do you use it as potpourri? [editline]2nd November 2010[/editline]
I heard latest polls showed it was losing.
Pre-election polls mean next to nothing. The results of the poll vary too greatly depending on how the poll is conducted.
where can we see how it's coming?
http://vote.sos.ca.gov/returns/ballot-measures/ apparently will be updating it Im gonna smoke so much tomorrow night if this passes, if not then im gonna smoke so much in remembrance for it. Either way, im getting blazed as fuck

Results not in yet.

All I'm saying is, I don't think that have a limit is good. Or at least it should be bigger
If anyone here still thinks prop19 shouldn't pass (and enjoys consuming marijuana) Please vote yes, even if your not happy with it yet we can push and push for legalization until its practically limitless. Baby Steps everyone, vote and if you can't vote, convince your parents to vote yes on 19

And I don't care if I can't walk around wherever smoking, I'd much rather smoke in private. [editline]3rd November 2010[/editline]
What if your a non-grower? It isn't like you can't get more, you're just fucked if you get caught.
did it pass?
They are processing the results now. http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2010/results/ballot.measures/#
Saw on CNN, 43% to 57% leaning heavily no. Only 2% counted though. Hopefully it changes dramatically.
Stoners always are the last to vote (Arriving to the polls in their sweatpants and a wife beater), just wait for it.
wish i could have voted but im not in cali :( http://www.politicsdaily.com/ballot-initiatives/ choose the marijuana catagory. so far we're at ~44% but the polls are only 17% done being tallied. i really hope this goes through.
Don't think it is going to pass.
well if they're tallying by time of vote order i'm assuming it'll start rising towards the end of the tally since as we all know, what stoner likes to wake up early? definitely not me.
I really would rather have it not pass, then next year possibly get a better one to pass, as Prop 19 was the worst of the 3(I think 3) choices this year for legalization.
I'll have lost faith in humanity if this doesn't pass. I also have a strange feeling that it was rigged
