From our dear friends at the National Post.
After weeks of reminding the general public that he’s not famous anymore, Shia LaBeouf has taken the next step in his ever-evolving transition from middle-of-the-road actor to publicity stunt mastermind, opening his five-day performance art installation, #IAMSORRY, in Los Angeles.
The installation — conveniently located directly across the street from the offices of Buzzfeed, just in case the signage prominently featuring LaBeouf’s name wasn’t enough to make this thing go viral — involves LaBeouf himself sitting silently at a table with a paper bag over his head. It’s the very same bag (or one much like it) that he wore at the Berlin filmfest premiere of his latest film, Nymphomaniac, with the words – you guessed it — “I am not famous anymore” scrawled in black marker on its front.

He needs to stop acting like a goober and doing stupid shit like this, makes me dislike him even more.
funny how putting on that mask suddenly made him famous again
If you really are sorry maybe you should, I don't know, stop acting like a child and get that thing off your head?
It was amusing the first time but now it's just sad.

I don't see anything wrong with Shia Laboof apologising.
im p sure the bag was intended to draw publicity
as is the new performance art installation #iamsorry thing
it's literally all one big performance
funny how putting on that mask suddenly made him famous again
Claiming that you want to get out of the public eye and then wearing THAT thing in public events to seek attention? How is that not childish?
Still waiting for the day he's arrested for naked public masturbation.

wasn't that the kony 2012 guy
I don't see anything wrong with Shia Laboof apologising.
Because he is attention seeking, instead of just apologizing like a normal person
it seems like pretty much every underwhelming celebrity of the last decade is doing something "outrageous" for publicity

Yea I mean this entire thing ever since his plagiarised short film is some kind of performance art. its obvious. I dunno what he's trying to say tbh but he definitely know what he's doing. He's not trying to hide.

People said literally the exact same thing about Amanda Bynes before she started undergoing treatments for serious mental conditions.
You know what he's doing as much as anyone does, which is none.

I'm fairly sure that if he actually wanted to get out of the public eye, he wouldn't have appeared at events/interviews at all.
much better performance than in transformers.
performance just doesn't feel complete without his trademark nononononoonoonnonnNONONONONONo NOOOO thing

i dont know what happened with Amanda Bynes but wtf else is Shia doing then? What is this if not performance art?
are you saying shia lebeouf is mentally ill
I don't even get why people care about this?
Because he is attention seeking, instead of just apologizing like a normal person
god forbid someone approaches publicity stunts without doing stupid shit.
funny how putting on that mask suddenly made him famous again
Maybe that's part of the performance art?
I think it's pretty neat.
For those who haven't seen this already. The music video by Sigur Rós he starred in.

Warning: tits and dicks
Why do people keep saying he's a bad actor?
He's not that bad. In fact I've seen a lot of scenes where he acts very well.
Just me?
Jesus christ these celebrities need to grow up and a pair. If I was famous I'd use it to my advantage rather than do stupid shit like this.
