I'm listening to it as I type and I have to say... it ain't BAD AT ALL!!! Sounds very funky and well produced, that's Prince for ya! Its so far a superb listen and it is probably the best thing released for free by the newspapers, better than all the other shit they release. By Miles... Let's Funk.. Here is my official review of it
Superb return to form... or the old days of Prince Well in my opinion... Return to form is a bit harsh because his last few albums have been pretty good. It is just that in the past decade and a bit he has been a bit experimental with his funk. This album is about being true to what we know Prince's music to be... genius. People found it hard to like albums like Lotusflower and Planet Earth where as the traditional funkadelic albums Musicology and 3121 received a hell of a lot of acclaim even though they are in Prince's newer funk style. This is an album ... that people will adore. People these days are appreciating the older style of music a hell of a lot more than some of the junk released in the mainstream. Best thing of all... is that it is free. I would've spent a considerable amount of money for it anyway because I think his music has always been genius, regardless what others think. Grab it QUICK before this day is over.. because this is something great
People say Free stuff is always good, considering mostly it is shit I would say this shows it doesn't have to be.. at all :v:
Hold on, when did the artist formerly known as Prince become known as Prince again? "The Artist Formerly not known as Prince after being known as Prince who is now known as Prince"

is this the guy who said that the internet is a trend and will die soon
is this the guy who said that the internet is a trend and will die soon
hell yeah :v: but he was saying it in terms of musical content. Owning great albums on Itunes isn't as great as owning it physically like on Vinyl or CD, thats basically what he is saying.
Is that the album cover? It looks like it could have been drawn digitally by an amateur artist.
Is that the album cover? It looks like it could have been drawn digitally by an amateur artist.
why you so worried about the album cover? I think its pretty retro, which it is.
Owning great albums on Itunes isn't as great as owning it physically like on Vinyl or CD, thats basically what he is saying.
bahahahahahahahahah ahahaha
bahahahahahahahahah ahahaha
Not very funny, he has a point. The ipod is a trend, its not an AMAZING piece of technology. Ipod touch or Iphone, maybe.. but they aren't ground breaking in music technology, only for things like interaction with Internet and Games. The music quality is limited. Its great and clean, but its nothing amazing. :frogdowns:
