Really? Hardcore Space Oddity?
The nerve.
have this low quality off-screen camera recording somebody recorded

That Space Oddity cover... yikes.
So from what I gather, some kinda colonies get shafted, get pissed off and attack Earth. Wow that's impressive, seems pretty fresh and creative.

It was made weirder by the fact that they only used a single line.

Is this the standard that we judge Call of Duty on now? Can we not just be grateful it's something other than Russians or ISIS?

I find Russians/Chinese or ISIS preferable when it's either that or a blatant Killzone rip-off. Honestly. Like, if I'm wrong it's fine, I love space as much as the next guy and my point is moot, but so far it doesn't look all that good.
i mean, space humans getting shafted by earth humans isn't really groundbreaking stuff.
it's pretty much the russian/middle eastern setting for sci-fi military stuff.
The moment I saw the 'running up the hill' part at the start I could already tell, "Yeah, it's Call of Duty alright."
The space transition and warfare doesn't really look amazing or notable when Killzone and Halo have already been doing this for the past decade. Oh but wait, it's intense space combat, hold onto your assholes because we're going big
People have been joking about Space Warfare since before Advanced Warfare, if not sooner. I actually kind of wish the time travel theories were right, now, because even for space this kind of looks safe as hell.

We could be grateful if they weren't doing the most overused space plot in existence. Doesn't exactly help when the Killzone franchise is very recent and based entirely around this concept.
Looks pretty cool for a cod game but its IW so
looks like call of duty
IN SPAAAAAACE!
Maybe IW will pull it out this time, because they have nothing to lose.
I'm conflicted. I'm getting the exact feelings I had towards Advanced Warfare and Black Ops 3 (based on their aesthetics/themes) yet I ended up really enjoying those. I'll probably pick it up early on, hopefully the remaster rumours are true. Though then again, those games didn't go right into space. Hmm.
Honestly just looks exactly like the last few cods that were future themed
The space stuff will literally all be short set-pieces that only exist to show off in the trailers, just like every other cod game that used set-pieces
Space colony getting pissed and therefor attacks earth?

Just got uploaded and Space Oddity cover plays more.
I like it. Though I still don't see the point of MW remaster.
I like it. Though I still don't see the point of MW remaster.
The point is that it's still one of the best CoD campaigns? And replaying it with updated visuals would be awesome?

I mean you can still buy and play cod4 just fine right now. And it's not even that old. It still looks really good for it's age, so updating graphics seems like a cry to boost pre-orders.

It looks fine for its age, but only that. Other than that, it does look pretty dated. MW3 had a few scenes from CoD4 remade in that slightly updated engine and it already looked way better and CoD visuals have progressed a ton even since then.
I like it. Though I still don't see the point of MW remaster.
Because it'd be cool to see one of the better campaigns with updated visuals and a revitalised player base. CoD 4 MP is some of the best I've played and it's pretty dead.
Please tell me I'm not the only one exited for the potential for an actual TripleA 6DOF space FPS.
Fuck the campaign, I need some new shattered horizon in my life.

Time travel theories?

That's one hell of a good trailer, I must say.
And I don't even like CoD that much nor do I even think that the gameplay in the Singeplayer will be any good because they will squeeze the spacefighter mission in an on-rail segment.

well killzone ripped it off from gundam, and gundam ripped it off from other works of fiction.
space colonies uprising is a very common story device.
Time travel theories?
I assume they would involve Gaz somehow?
So much time and effort goes into the trailer and people go like "thats amazing!" followed by playing the first two campaign levels and then just playing the multiplayer, i remember they posted statistics about the single player and it was just shocking how so many people seem to skip it
