It's sad to see it go. Hopefully he'll come back one day when he has the time, but in the meanwhile there is still TDD's Pressure skin.

Don't know the term, but graphics pretending to be real 3D surfaces is so 2000. It's old-hat now.

I had used pixel vision for a long time as my first skin, but then I found Steam Compact skin which imo is better

Absolutely love pixelvision but ever since big picture was incorporated to steam there was this ugly as fuck HDTV button on the top left that's always bugged me.

I've basically considered Pixelvision as the default skin for a while now. I wonder for how long the final version will work.

It may be heavy wip but so much about this is poorly thought out. I tried it once since everyone was using it, never liked the style much. I prefer using Metro for Steam, makes everything looks simple and doesn't waste space.

Switched to Metro a while back to match Win8.1, and it looks great normally but the in-game overlay isn't really that good.

I wish Steam would give official workshop support. That would really pick up the skinning scene. Most people don't know you can even do it.
