Sounds like practice for them in a way. The fucks were crazy enough to bomb a marathon, so they probably had some crazy ass motive to kill these people as well.
Call me crazy but this just sounds like a case of "Pin the crime on the bombers". Can't wait to see what they dredge up to be the Bombers' motivation for these murders (Bets on it being something along the lines of a drug deal gone bad? Moral of the story being - Weed is bad, kids.)

A confession?
