The steam store page still says Feburary. Oh well, best to have quality over an earlier release.
SURPRISE 2 days after my birthday though so that's cool
As much as I don't like it. It's to be expected.
figures
I'm sorry to have to say this, but...
For fuck's sake, Valve. Honestly, normally I wouldn't complain. But it's obvious that they're just using the release date as an excuse to give no info about EP3. I mean, it's reasonable to not give information about ep3 before Portal 2 is released; but this is just ridiculous.
Dick move, Valve. :smith:
Well, damn.
Knew it
I really don't mind the delay, it's done when it's done.
When it comes out it'll be quality.

What? I'm not seeing that connection. I'm seeing this is just another "Valve" delay. Every game they have released has been delayed multiple times. This shouldn't come as a surprise, and Valve's release dates are to be taken with a grain of salt.
They couldn't come up with a promotional TF2 hat concept in time for the release
WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
Damn.

Awesome press release though.
Delay it until holiday 2011, I dare you

Stop being a fanny, it's only 2 months.
It's only a 2 month delay, not much to freak out about.

*1 month
Why was it delayed? Because they want to make it the best damn game they've ever made.
there's fewer game blockbusters in late spring than winter, that's probably why
feb is post Christmas season, silly time to release a game
I'm ok with this, there's like 2 games coming out in February that I want and none in April.
make it pre-orderable at least gawd
On the bright side...
It's the shortest delay valve has ever had...
That press-release is beautiful.
Wasn't the old release near Duke Nukem Forever's release date?
Motive?
Well now it's just funny that they are allowed to say so.
C'mon guys. It's Valve.
I hope they release information or something to make up for it
A man can dream

April is 2 months from February.
I'm actually happy. I mean, I could do without the delay, but at least the delay is short. That's if they don't add any more weeks onto that.
There's a lot of games coming out February.
[editline]18th November 2010[/editline]
I'm also glad the release got delayed. I can't buy games until late April anyways so there's less of a chance the plot gets spoiled for me.
how come EVERYONE saw this coming valve? Hmmmm?
