A drawing made in photoshop, though i suck when it comes to digital drawings because i have to use the mouse, hope to get a tablet soon.
Anyway, if you're familiar with the Silent Hill series you'll recognize this guy. Any tips appreciated.

the shading is really nice
The shading is great, but you might want to work on your anatomy a bit. Also, the colors seem a bit... off?
The mosaic tile filter in the background is really obvious. You might want to soften it a bit or maybe put some similarly-colored noise over it.
He also used that fabric texture for his helmet.

Yeah I used the filters; I'm still pretty much a newbie and I couldn't think of any other way to give stuff a texture. I'll try something to make them less obvious next time, thanks.
Perspective is horrendous and absent at the same time, shading is nonsence, everything is too dark(but it might be the sun behind my computer)
It's filterrape, anatomy is horrendous and hands are bent in a way that is not possible for human even after beating hands with a sledgehammer for a few minutes.
Texture definition is absent, you used filters and textures. Don't know how to get textures, hmm, how about draw them out?
It's true, textures are used sometimes, but if you don't know how to use them to achive the effect needed it's best to leave them alone rather than ruin your work with them.
For shading define one lighting point, or multible and shade materials like they react to light in real life. Metal shines and skin is matte, etc. you seem to grasp the idea of midtones, highlights and shadows, but on each limb they do what they want.
Learn how to use skeletons how to place flesh on bones and use many reference images and such and follow tutorials.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll keep that in mind. I know his hands are bent in an impossible way, but I just went along with it...
