Gamergate did not fizzle, it just went dormant because nothing is really happening.

But he brought up things like youtube not allowing certain videos, forums not allowing certain avatars as examples of that.
That kinda shit has been around long before the term SJW even existed, long before people got all hyper sensitive.
Also I've never seen an SJW type person claiming the way some groups are trying to censor the internet is great. Hell everytime some shit sprang up that threatened the freedom of the internet I see TONS of posts on Tumblr with links to petitions and re-blogs of people saying it should be stopped.

The sjw thing is not overblown, the religious right no longer has cultural currency, they have been replaced by the sjw's as metokur has pointed out, and are the useful idiots who push for policies which further the interests of both governments and corporations.

Various international companies have announced that they aren't going to translate games to the west because of the moral panic surrounding video games. If that isn't a big deal to you then that's absolutely fine, but there are people who enjoy those kinds of games or value that kind of freedom of expression who are pissed of, which makes sense because the whole thing is fundamentally an issue about video games anyway and not whatever political bullshit that people brought into it.
It also means that people who want to create media such as video games or online writing with complex themes such as gender aren't able to do so without opening themselves to harassment from either side of this supposed 'debate'.
It's limiting people's ability to create things and express themselves, cutting off fans of said things from enjoying it and paying the creator so they can earn a livable income (a lot of these guys, both local and international, are small independent developers and writers) and generally creating a shitty situation where people are allowed to be publicly harassed and abused for whatever political opinions they unintentionally present for daring to play, make or discuss anything involving or pertaining to video games and/or gender. It also makes it so that a large number of people (again, on both 'sides') like the guy in the OP video and many others are able to spread acidic bullshit that could lead to even more problems because people are unwilling to openly discuss the issue (which causes people to flock to anyone whose actually willing to talk about it, even when they're absolutely insane).
Lastly, it puts back the public acceptance of the 'gamer' identity to the level of the 1980s Satanic DnD scare. A group of people who had been forced to deal with terrible stereotyping and being blamed for every mass shooting event had just started to crawl back to some level of public acceptance before this whole fiasco where even the people in the media who previously defended the group basically called anyone who plays video games a "mass-murdering misogynist rapist that's worse than ISIS and probably eats babies".
People on the receiving end of this situation: people who have been harassed, abused, bullied, doxxed, swatted, lost their jobs, their income, have had people hack into their social media accounts and spread lies about them- have been unable to get their voices heard because they've been barred from speaking in many places, which is where the fears of censorship come from. Many different groups are trying to create a narrative and silence anyone who puts that narrative in question, whether that narrative is "evil SJWs taking over the world" or "Evil GamerGoobers coming to rape all the women in the world" it doesn't matter.
People are being harmed by this situation and the misinformation being perpetuated by it, you don't have to care or get involved at all, but the reality is people are being harmed.

We have enough exposure for the TPP for it to collapse on being voted on (It's actually being pushed back after the election vote but before the next presidency. The TTIP Is actually not going to be here until after two years, but apparently the European Trade Commission has mandated that they cannot go after you for "Commercial-Scale Infringement". It also has hit a lot of roadblocks to the fact that it may be almost neutered again, just like the TPP with the ISDS and Big Tobacco.) The two others are a shitshow of unknown proportions, But I don't think they (the other two) have enough power to keep doing this.
