• Thought about sex and nudity and how our "morals" change over time.

I thought up something random while taking a shit yesterday. Forgot it, but remembered it again now. About sex and nudity etc. Like... Thousands of years ago, we ran around bare naked. I mean in the very begin. We just fucked around in the open etc. Then after a while we started putting on cloths to cover us. A slow process started we covered us more and more, sex got more and more taboo etc. Until, i dunno, beginning of 1900s (maybe earlier i dunno lol) it started going the other way. Certain things we do today was taboo maybe just 30-40 years ago. So, will the process continue back to (or well, close to) how we began? Girls walking around topless will be the same as if a guy did it. Completly normal. Public sex will be more accepted. Full nudity on tv, commercials etc. Stuff like this... It might not go as far as some of this, but certainly it will go further than today. What do you think? Edit: Sorry if something is wrong. I'm really baked right now. Edit: Sorry if there is another thread bros. Forgot to check!
But we already have a similar thread, why make another one?
I don't know much about history but early humans probably started wearing stuff to keep warm and protect their body, and it just went from there. I doubt we will ever get to a stage where humans walk around topless again.

And nudist colonys. The media is what really brings people to think that sexuality=bad
The reason people wear clothes is to keep warm, and because we have been doing it since our species first appeared, not to do with any sexuality stuff. I think people should wear clothes all the time unless for various purposes such as cleaning themselves or in private.
It's the opposite (for which I'm told) on the media in the US and Europe. Nudity is shunned in the media and open cultures in the US, whilst Europe is more open to it. The divide is definitely narrowing. Don't be surprised when things such as public nudity, expossed midriff, and something as meager as a bra-strap is targeted by the police 20 years from now.
In Europe Nudity is also disliked, and I personally have not seen any naked or partially naked people in public. I think it should stay like that, and not because I don't like human body, but because I know that a lot of people feel embarrassed or not well if presented with someone showing to much skin.
I love a lot of skin, especially on women.
I think they should keep their nudity and sex in private. I don't want to watch that when I got shit to do.
I don't see why sex is such a taboo thing. Everyone wants and likes it! :D
I don't see why sex is such a taboo thing. Everyone wants and likes it! :D
But you wouldn't feel uncomfortable if people were watching you?
But you wouldn't feel uncomfortable if people were watching you?
It depends. But that's not my point. I think that it is stupid that sex should be totally shunned as something that is immoral and rude, because its natural and a process of life. Doing it in public would be bad though, think of the children.

Sex is a private thing you should do with someone special to you. That is my thought on it.

We became more conservative 6,000 years ago when we ate the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.

Trolling, duh!
Wasn't it illegal at one point for women to show the side of their legs?
Wasn't it illegal at one point for women to show the side of their legs?
Not exactly "illegal", but incredibly frowned upon.

But this I think is because of religion, not just one religion, but religion in general.
When I was 10 I used to think that sex was the most evil thing in the world and degraded and avoided anyone who talked about it. And then I jacked off and quit talking like that. People's morals will change as quickly as everyone else's around them does. (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction was released in 1965, people flipped because of an allusion to a period and the phrase "I can't get no girl reaction". Brown Sugar was released 6 years later, sings about interracial sex, cunnilingus, slave rape, and less distinctly, sadomasochism, lost virginity, and heroin. Everybody was cool with Brown Sugar though, and now basically everyone knows the song and doesn't give it a second thought.
Personally i'd rather stay as we are. If we get to the point where women walk around topless, then soon our impression of boobs will become bleak and repedative until the are nothing more than the views of a topless guy. Boobs mean too much to me for that to happen :v:
I once saw a few naked women at the beach in Florida. It was a beach that didn't allow being nude but they still did it, and no one seemed to care.

Now days, you can constantly be teased with how people around you dress or provocative advertisements, etc. I like how current society is. People can dress in heavy clothes if they wish, or they can dress in skimpy skirts and tights to sort of tease you at their own will. But if everyone walked around naked, wouldn't every male be walking around with a permanent boner at lease through their teenage years?
Yeah.... no clothes to protect from simple scratches, I'm twice more likely to be killed that way. Sex is a private thing for someone very special, who loves you. It'd be very embarrassing to be doing that open where people are watching you. But if that's gonna' be the case where this stuff is open, please put it in certain areas, like islands, colonies, or just a simple beach. Just refine abandoned homes or areas people don't go to anymore. Make a whole house specifically in that rule set only. Point is, is just to keep it private.
My thoughts? I don't care what happens. Just keep it private.

Sex is for two people who share a physical attraction to each other. Or in the case of prostitutes, a guy is horny and the girl wants money. What I'm trying to say is that the idea that sex is 'special' is a load of horse shit and always has been.
