Princess was taken to vets and spent three nights being treated for her injuries. The kitten is now said to be fine, with no lasting damage from her washing machine ordeal. Judy Drysdale, senior veterinary surgeon from the Vets Now at Ardene House, said "Princess arrived at the clinic very shaken up and shivering, with a nose bleed and sore eyes. "But her owner had managed to dry her off very well prior to bringing her in to the clinic. "Princess was admitted to the hospital for emergency care, which included oxygen, and pain relief for her bruised body. "She was also placed on heat pads to bring her core temperature up to normal." How do you accidentally leave a kitten in a washing machine?
Sorry for being late mods, please lock this up. Thank you.
How do you accidentally leave a kitten in a washing machine?
Kittens apparently love sitting in laundry, it was probably hiding in a pile of clothes and the owner didn't realize it.
One of my tutors last year was in the news for the same thing. Kittens love getting into warm damp areas. Apparently this one was in the emergency room at the vet for days and they thought she was going to die for sure but miraculously recovered and is now fine.
