My seventh firearm in the interactive weapons series, also the first fully automatic one (which resulted in a lot more messy code). Didn't go with the weapon requests I got since I didn't really like any of them, so I went with something generic instead!
Artistic! :science:
Neat-o!
this was actually one of the things I spent a very satisfying 3 minutes doing
also cool guitar

Couple things are off.
Your magazine release is drawn wrong. If you look at this picture, you can see the little lever on the magazine release.

The muzzle break is off (designed to lower recoil, should be at slant), and something's fishy about your dust cover/firing selector but I'm not sure what.
[editline]03:45PM[/editline]
Oh also when you pull back the bolt, there should be a bullet visible in there, not just when it's ejecting/firing.
Not too bad, especially assuming you haven't fired one in real life.
Very nice.

Yeah, I forgot to draw the actual magazine release lever, but I'll add that later. I don't see what's wrong with the compensator, though. Your picture is of an AK-74, by the way. I have no idea if the fire selector moves as I've made it, but the dust cover looks fine to me.

Aww, crap, you're right. I forgot that bullet that should be visible inside the chamber...
Its awesome.
Good job.
I commented on it
On your K98K simulator, it's Karabiner 98 Kurtz, not Kurz.
I also saw the K98K simulator. They're both pretty cool. How long did they take you?
very cool, i like how if you cock it while the magazine is out then pull the trigger it doesn't fire, i know its how it really works but its just nice attention to detail, and i can respect that!
Much, much better now when you can drag the slide. You don't have an interactive safety though, it's part of the fire mode lever.

Not according to Wikipedia.
I also saw the K98K simulator. They're both pretty cool. How long did they take you?
Takes about four to six hours, with the coding being the slowest part.

Yeah, I figured most people wouldn't want to use the safety since all you can do is realize that yep, you can't fire the rifle with the safety on. Going to include that in the next update, though.
This is a lot better
Improved a lot, both the drawing and animation
That's awesome. I sat and emptied the magazine by pulling the bolt, just to see if I could do it. Besides minor inaccuracies stated it's pretty great, so is the Kurz (somebody doesn't know how German pronunciation goes, eh?) simulator.
Also I love how so many people can't even get it to fire.
full auto should be at the bottom
I spent 5 minutes enjoying myself with this. I got a boner too.
This is a AKM not a Ak47.
Can't wait for the dumb ratings :downs:

I won't rate you dumb, I'll just tell you why you are.
A. No one cares.
B. AKM's used stamped receivers, while early AK47's used milled receivers, you can tell the flash drawing is based on a picture of a milled receiver AK47 because of the milled out inset rectangle on either side of the receiver. (Also most AKM's had lateral grips on the front furniture)
C. I'm a hypocrite for even responding but yeah, It was fun. (being a hypocritical douchebag)

Also, this flash was a good improvement over the Kar98, I think as far as interactivity goes it'd be great to be able to raise the rear sites, switch to safety, remove the magazine by hand (click-drag) and possibly pop the top cover off and see the spring mechanism when in use. Also, do you have the rate of fire set properly?
One thing that bugged me was that you can't just grab the bolt and pull it as fast back and forth you can, and empty the mag without letting go of the bolt.
But stil.. I <3 IT
[editline]04:52PM[/editline]
Also, I agree with Ajacks on the last two lines :D

Coming in the next update.

On an AK it goes from Safe - Full Auto - Semi Auto

iirc

From the top?
From the top?
Pretty sure, yeah.
Here's what an AK variant looks like when it's safe.

There, fixed. Thanks for the feedback!
If ya ask me you should be able to pull the safe/semi-auto/full-auto switch up and down aswell as pulling the mag out and loading your mag yourself or just tossing it away and picking up a new one. Sorry for harsh critics though, but this is the best flash game/simulator thing I've ever seen :D
[editline]07:44PM[/editline]
And I mean pull as in:
Pull up: goes to safe
Pull down: goes full-auto
Pull to middle: goes to semi-auto
I'm just implying that IF you can do that, It'd be fully complete :D
Idk if it's possible with the original script :P

The reason for not doing this for the fire selector is that it's a lot of work for almost nothing, and the reason for not doing it for the magazine is that I'd have to limit the area that the magazine can be dragged around in.
It is definitely possible, but I'd have to change quite a lot.
Oh god u fixed the bolt thing i mentioned :d
i <3 u
[editline]07:46PM[/editline]
Allright :D
Thanks again
I like randomly pulling the bolt to eject a round for no reason.
