So what is your definition of a game? It's pretty obvious but really hard to pinpoint a good definition of phrase on it.

Why? The Sims, farming simulators and Animal Crossing are games and Farmville is basically a very simplified version of all of them. Even though it's a bad and shallow game, it's still a game.

It may be a terrible and in your opinion boring as hell game, but it is still a game. People play them and somehow enjoy them. I'm not sure how you managed to understand and agree with his point and then completely contradict it.
