In a post on the official PlayStation Blog, Sony said the Vita version of Borderlands 2 includes 6 DLC packs: Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty, Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage, Psycho Character Class, Mechromancer Character Class, Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 1 and the Collector’s Edition Pack.
Yeppy-ka-yey Perhabs someone may actually buy it now
Wow, playing a game like BL2 in the car would be the best thing ever...until you get to your destination. I really want a vita now, would be fun.
This changes everything
If only there was vita/ps3/pc cross play.
might get it depending if I have emone by the time it comes out
Too bad it's all digital and will take up like half of the 8GB memory card they bundled with it. That's the thing preventing me from buying the Vita. This sounds like an awesome deal, but there's basically a "hidden" cost of another $40-$50 at least if you want a passable memory card to go with all of those PS+ games you get (and you definitely should because PS+ is awesome.) Really wish Sony wouldn't force you go through their own proprietary cards but what can you do? Still, I'm really tempted to get this.

Have quite a few good games from the bundle I got the Vita with and a few months of PS+, but no space to install them and no money to buy a new memory card.

It isn't even the cost for me - it's the principal of it and I won't buy from a company who are pathetically trying to milk their customers like that.

Didn't know they released a slim version of the Vita. I don't see the point in it because it's just barely thinner.
So glad I never really played this the first time around, I'm sure it will be something quite special on the Vita. I'm a total Vita fanboy, even with the cost of memory cards factored in it's still fantastic Valve for money, here's hoping this bundle puts more of them into the wild.

Other than the ps4 compatibility; now we just need a postal 2 port on the vita :v:
Yeppy-ka-yey Perhabs someone may actually buy it now
I'm still buying games for my PSP slim. I've already got Borderlands 2 on PC, and I really want them to make more than ports for the Vita, even if the ports in question turn out to be really good. Hell, Pursuit Force 3 would get me buying one.
I don't see how this is going to come off well at all. BL2 is a game that you have to have some sort of mental investment in because of skill and weapon balancing.
I don't see the argument here
Maybe I'm just outdated, but my impression is always that the most successful handheld games are the ones that don't really require a decent amount of investment. I couldn't even begin to imagine playing something like BL2 or an actual RPG on a handheld. Not to say that handheld games lack depth, but still. I found the handheld GTA games a load of old shite on handheld because they had interesting and involving plots and gameplay mechanics but they were stuck on a handheld, something I only ever really got out if I was just on the go and had time to kill or waiting around.

I see your point, but from having a Vita I've not really had the problem you mention.
Borderlands isn't hard though
The only way that they knew how to make it 'difficult' was to jack up the enemy health and damage past the point where leveling and your own weaponry can keep up. There is a chart floating around showing how absolutely broken progression is in the two other difficulties, and they're ridiculous before the 4x-or whatever jump in health that UVHM adds.
Getting the Vita is justified for Killzone Mercenary alone. That game is fucking fantastic.

I seldom wip it out for a quick game and I'm sure I'm not alone.

Although Border lands is ideal, the slim itself is kind of a mixture of a upgrade and downgrade. No more OLED screen.. there Is some built in storage but eh
I wonder if they will ever launch a real complete pack with all the dlcs.
Vita was best handheld purchase I ever made. I can play my PS4 without the wife complaining about hogging the TV! Also, the games are pretty cool...Little Big Planet, Hotline Miami, Uncharted (which is free!), Persona 4 etc. The only thing that sucks is the outrageously overpriced memory cards...
The memory cards are still too overpriced for me.
