I'd reccomend getting a crappy five to ten dollar one to start off. Just to get a feel of what an airsoft gun shoots like, how powerful it is, etc.
Paintball is where it's at, OP. Either get a real gun (if your old enough), or get a paintball gun. Airsoft is lame.

And honestly, I personally don't think TM is worth going for anymore, unless it's something like their M4 SOPMOD with the recoil and such, or any other TM only guns that are out, I mean they make amazing guns and all but as far as price goes I'd just stick with others like KWA/G&G for M4S/G36s, CA for AUGs, Dboys/Cyma/Inokatsu for AKs, and so on.

no he's being silly, JG is fine, they're just having shipping problems overseas because of the whole security thing and whatnot and the fact that they do not brand their own guns.
i definitely recommend something +100$ for your first gun or you will be sorely disappointed.
