The main event was the saving grace of the PPV. Sting's return was even better for me, because I didn't know anything about the rumors.

He kinda did. He no longer does any actual wrestling except for rare cases, as he's actually the Chief Operating Officer of WWE. Now they have this awful story arc where he's the slave driver and the other wrestlers hate him and the people around him.

They say that both Triple H and Steph are returning to wrestling, not too sure about Steph but both of them have improved with fitness and are now no longer in 'power'.

Not sure why but I have major respect for Triple H
I read the title as 'Stig' and got super hype for a guy in a white racing suit beating up motherfuckers.

Never really watched WWE, but I remember Sting. I always chose him as my wrestler in the N64 game.
Ziggler's performance actually made more of an impression on me than Sting's debut.
